Gary's is an excellent establishment, in regard to local competitors to the Corporate Giant Wal-Mart.
It has an excellent produce selection, along side a state of the art Meat department that which takes pride in its selection of meat and professionally cut steaks, and wonderful selection hamburgers and other specialty cuts.
The staff are all incredibly helpful and well versed within the products sold here. The are also very interested in what you are up to during your personal shopping experience,
They can almost 100% be there or very near where you are at any point during your grocery shopping extravaganza.
They also have hired many, many, many, very secretive secret shoppers, to assist them in their ability to monitor your behavior during your shopping experience.
I give them an A+++ in not only their ability to maneuver to positions that which they can see or view every movement you make.
They are very good at selecting items that mirror your interest whilst you make your selection as well
I mean this is top notch 100% The most completely encompassing anti theft system I have ever experienced.
Excellent atmosphere, it is always enjoyable being exposed to or performing in situations that which I can be seen or labeled as a professional in the areas of potential thievery.
It is especially appealing to know that no matter what I do or where I go within their supermarket, I have eyes on me keeping me safe from other potentially dangerous assailants,
or if you prefer,
customers, or thieves, or shoplifters.
I don't know what is the most appropriate term in this situation honestly
Ya, anyway, I'm fairly certain most establishments tend to trend near a 1%. Total loss to theft, in comparison to overall income.
So I'd say all the excessively intricately and wonderfully selected and placed anti-theft situations they create.
Most certainly does not encroach or surpass that 1% in total loss in comparison to income.
You know the loss that they incur due to customer thievery.
Oh wait, actually, I'm pretty sure that employees actually make up around 60-70% of that 1% loss.
But that's neither here nor there.
Thank you for reading, have a good...
Read moreI have an Emotional Support animal, she’s small, doesn’t bark, potty trained, doesn’t bite, doesn’t shed, great with kids, and the only time I get to spend time with her is in the evenings. I’ve had her for over a year and have never been told I can’t bring her into the store before. I hold her and don’t put her in the carts, and I don’t walk her around the store. In fact most of the attendants there have welcomed her and have been kind. Until tonight, I was stopped and told I can’t take her through the produce isle. OK, well that tells me they don’t know me and don’t trust me, it kinda gave me a sick feeling in the pit of my gut, and brought a tear to my eye. I guess I...
Read moreVisiting from PA. The exterior of this mom-and-pop grocery store belies the variety of merchandise inside. While you COULD find cheaper generic brands at the local Walmart, Gary's has better quality, selections and the personable kind of customer service one should expect from their friendly, neighborhood grocer. I actually forgot that I was wearing a Veteran hat until the clerk gave me a discount on my purchase. A supermarket with a veteran's discount is unheard...
