Game On — Local services in McCook

Ok so I like the staff full star there, good selection full star there, prices are low to mid half star there, and old school game trades are decent to fair half star there. Where I have issue is that when you wish to trade cards here. I brought 2,319.81 worth of cards and checked ahead for value as an estimate the card they quoted was 100 ish quoted 82 buy and said 50-70 would be trade value on said card. I thought good deal an estimated 50% to 70% on value sounds like a fine deal. Well after a 1.5 hour drive, and a 3.5 hour wait to look through the cards I was offered almost 300 for my trade value... it was a disappointment to say the least and i asked top 5 card trade wanting to see if this was just a lack of need for bulk cards and was still offered 60 bucks trade store credit. This was... well terrible and rather insulting as I did my best to check ahead on value first. I am trying not to be vindictive so I'm stating 3 stars but i doubt I'll ever come back as this was a horrendous trade offer at 10-20% and I'd say a huge ball drop as it was a mass waste of their employee's time and my time...

After the reply from the owner I want to point out MOST of the cards brought in were Near Mint as standard grading goes 1 being a Blaziken V Max alternate art 100 dollar card via that grade and many MANY other cards high value 10, 15, 20, and 60. No... you mean insult here and honestly its disgusting. Everyone I've spoken to about this including friends who have worked at somilar jobs grading cards agree this was a disgusting offer for what I brought. I'm extremely insulted by your reply.

Stopped in briefly recently to see if any changes were made and honestly this place is scam city still. Save your money use Amazon or go to Walmart. Hell Gamestop gives better...

I cut and pasted my review for the North Platte, Kearney and Grand Island locations, but this store haunts me, but for good reasons... I was only able to visit this location for a few minutes because I had to be somewhere for work and really didn't even have the time to stop there in the first place, but I needed my new comics... and this place delivered! Excellent selection of new comics, collectibles, cards and games. They also have a selection of back issues that I wasn't able to dig thru, but one day I will, and it will haunt me no longer, lol....

Stopping back in from Vegas after leaving Nebraska I forget how amazing it is to have a one stop shop for everything. If I want magic cards AND games they are here. Comics AND board games, here too. Plus they were always able to get me something if I needed it and took away the hassle of me trying to shop around for it. I think it’s hard to realize how nice it is having this store carry such a diverse option of things, instead for having to run to five different stores to fulfill xmas presents. Keep up the awesome work, you guys...
