The shops are amazing especially Bumble Bread. I just want to give a shout out to Tye the Pie Guy. He’s the reason why I do what I do. If it weren’t for his professional baking skills and sense of humor I wouldn’t have stopped nor given this review. The pies are out of this world! The rest of the shops are just as wonderful. The Peaceful Project is another one of my faves. If your into games and Legos it’s a must visit too. I highly recommend visiting all the shops at the Mchenry river walk. The shops just opened this week. I have to say this is one of the coolest projects I have ever seen done outside of a major city! The shops all look amazing, and have great stuff for sale. Ranging anywhere from candles to skateboards to crystals and even wine. Very cute, lovely shops, and a beautiful place for a walk. I went on a Friday afternoon, no one there. I imagine it is much more exciting when there is a band there and more people. The shop owners were all very friendly and excited to see people! I think holiday time would be adorable with it all lit up....
