Choice Health Care — Local services in McSherrystown

This was my very 1st visit. My grandmother decent broke her ankle & OSS prescribed her a wheelchair. I never realized how difficult it was to buy/rent a wheel chair till now. I had spend over 2 hrs on the phone and called 14 different places (all of which came up on my google search, when i typed in where to get a doctor prescribed wheelchair near Dover PA). Out of the 14 places, only 2 of them actually had wheelchairs, but Choice Health Care (CHC) worked with health insurance. Whereas the other location, they wanted me to buy chair outright at FULL PRICE. I was SO RELIEVED when I called CHC. I told them id be there in 40 min. When i arrived, all of the staff were super accommodating and very informative. They showed me the options available I was even able to get two extra things to make a little easier my grandmother was in her cast. They have a nice variety of medical supplies. I did notice that they also had face masks and gloves non latex and latex. In the end I was able to rent a wheelchair after my insurance the co-pay comes out to approximately $11 a month. And even better they delivered it and were able to so my grandmother all of the features and how to use it properly. Id definitely recommend this location to anyone with wheelchair, walker needs. I understand that they also rent temporary ramp and once we're done with the wheelchair that they will be coming and picking it...

Absolutely the worst customer service in the history of customer service. Straight out lies about the doctor orders. Had doctor send multiple orders trying to please them. Finally paid out of pocket and NOW according to Denise (the manager) it is insurance fraud if they turn it. Insurance company says nope they just don't want to do their job since they have your cash. Called 3 weeks after giving her everything she needed and she is still lying saying they didn't get it. After telling her I'm turning them into every organization possible because if they are doing this to someone willing to fight for my mom what are they doing to those who won't or can't fight she hung up the phone on me!!!! This is probably the worst customer service that I’ve ever had to deal with. If you need medical supplies in a timely manor or at all you would be better off ordering from somewhere else. I talk to same person every day to get my supplies. Everyday I get same story about my supplies for my cpap and was also told that they checked my insurance and would not cover a new machine. So I called insurance , they got in contact with Choice and they said they didn’t have a prescription for it. So when I asked her about it and told her my insurance would cover it she said well I thought they wouldn’t. On my 6th day without supplies or machine so getting.
