I'm big about supporting small business and I figured I'd give them time before I left a review. Today was my third time here. On the outside it don't look like much, once you head inside it's a bustling small town coffee shop. Let's talk about service to start service is normally always good you got smiling faces to greet you once you walk in. The manager Jason is a good fit for this place. Service is timely and prompt. Donuts are goid quality there not dry like a typical donut, there still light and spongy with moisture. It makes for a nice bite. You would think that there overly sweet with all the flavors they normally have. Like today I had a m&m cookie dough donut. I expected to be hit with a lot of sweet . But the donut it self balances the sweetness of the frosting with the m&m and cookie crumbs. My only problem is the price, for the size of the donut don't match the price. Yes I'll take quality over quantity any day. That's why the price for the donuts dont bother me as much. Now the coffee is a different story. It's overly priced and average. 3 dollars and change for a large. The large don't even equate to dunkin large for the same price. Same with the frappe the charge the same price as Starbucks for the same price. When starbucks is clearly larger. I get supporting local small business. And they are definitely a good small bussniness. Just can't justify the price for what you get. The coffee is average nothing real special about it. The donuts are something to rave about. I was hoping after all this time as well they would have a kitchen to make breakfast sandwiches. Once that happens ill go back one more time to try them. So all in all it's alright the only thing in my opinion that separates them from the competition is the donuts. If you've never been here before I do recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is primarily based on the donuts here. My husband picked up a donut for himself and realized it was undercooked and doughy inside. He called the shop to let them know about the issue, but he wasnāt asking for a refund. The person who answered the phone said that he would let the team know. The next day, my husband went back and picked up a half dozen donuts to bring home to me. At first, I got excited when I saw the box. But when I opened it, I was very underwhelmed. The donuts were tiny! They were as small as my fist and I have pretty small hands. I was shocked by the lack of quality in and size of these donuts. I reluctantly picked one up and bit into it. It was very dense and not as moist as I expected. Thereās not much cinnamon flavor, or barely any flavor for that matter. The chocolate frosting was pretty bland and the presentation/execution looked poorly done. The green frosting was the only flavor that I liked but it was also very sweet. Also, one of the donuts I ate was also undercooked and doughy inside. I ended up throwing out 3 of the leftover donuts. It just wasnāt worth it. Iām sad to say that we will not be buying more donuts...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBritton is an awesome small family owned coffee shop, with this location being the 3rd most recently opened location. The transformation of the old bank building into what is now the coffee shop is such a neat transformation of a once empty building! The vault was left as sort of a cool keepsake for guests to show piece the original purpose of the building prior to Britton Coffee! Which I think is super cool! The parking lot area is on the smaller side and often a tight fit. So be mindful of that when you go. There is on street parking in need be! As well as a drive-through. The inside is a very tidy, clean space to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast with friends or family! The drinks are always amazing, as well as the food! There always seems to be a new flavor of some sort, whether it be doughnuts, cold foam,or a specialty coffee! So even if you've stopped once, there is bound to be something new the next time you stop! My wife and I always look forward to stopping at Britton when we can! Make sure to stop in and support this great small...
