Was visiting the pharmacy at west main pharmacy! Saw a homeless man being yelled at to get off a property by a much bigger I’m tougher than you attitude security guard… I wouldn’t say he was escorting this man. He was yelling at him from 2 feet from his face… The man was clearly moving to the sidewalk. And the situation excelled just by yelling at this man til they met the sidewalk! But that didn’t stop the security guard He just kept yelling and yelling trying to be tougher and tougher but I couldn’t just watch anymore I pulled out my camera cus I was about to witness a homeless man get hit by a car because he was about be escorted off the sidewalk? Huh? He wasn’t even aloud to stay on the public sidewalk! I started recording the homeless man was almost hit by a few cars and duuuuuu duuuu dummm I guess they needed back up cus short security guard Karen showed up to yell at the homeless man too….. she told me that I was not suppose to record that I’m interrupting an investigation? Oh she had a masters degree in psychology? And she also trespassed me too. No conversation no hey man I would like it if you wouldn’t record! Just stop doing that cus I’ll have the cops here and youll be arrested for obstruction of justice… oh that’s right that’s what other code she said I did! So I just moved my body not my car to the sidewalk cus she said I was trespassed That made her mad cus she thought I would just bend to her power and a lot of obscene out of context sayings to me persued. The homeless guy was on the other side of the street and thank god he didn’t get hurt. But here I am 45 minutes out of my day cus she wants to call the cops on me for her actions…. I wouldn’t call them so she obviously did for me! I waited and waited cus I was trespassed and she wanted me to leave but my car was on the property. The cop showed up 45 minutes later and her rant didn’t stop. The cop was really nice and had a convo with me which was all I wanted but I didn’t get. This is what I think! I believe anyone can learn from mistakes. But I also believe if you see something say something. I’m not gonna stand back and just see someone worked up to the degree of assault cus that is what it looks like all of the security officers at Sherman thunderbird looks like are doing! The cop said I can leave and she was in the wrong! Not trespassed but one hour out my day cus I can’t stand seeing someone pushed to a point there gonna regret later. No stars if I could… If these are what security looks like there with no compassion no train of thought. Bully’s bully’s bully’s bully’s bully’s That’s all they are And I’m a paying...
Read moreI would like to extend an EXTREMELY SARCASTIC "Thank You" to Sherm's Thunderbird Market in Medford. Today, my family and I went there to buy some dinner groceries. Although I am not a fan of this store to begin with, it is significantly cheaper than stores such as Albertsons or Safeway, and I feed a family on a budget. When we left the store, we loaded up the kiddos and the puppy and went on our merry way. HOWEVER.... Once we got home, we were surprised to find a significant amount of our groceries missing. Not just a few, but most of the dinner for tonight. It was strange, but things happen. I called Sherm's, and the lovely lady on the phone confirmed that no one had written in their "left behind book," so no one had reported my groceries. That is odd to me, since it was a large bundle of stuff. I already felt really dumb for leaving such a significant amount behind, so she said I could bring the receipt in and talk to a manager because they had cameras everywhere. When I went in, Sarah - the assistant store manager, said she would report it to security and they would try to find out what happened to my groceries. In the interim, they would not honor the fact that I had bought them and not gotten them and I would have to buy the groceries AGAIN. Once the security guard sees the footage, I would not be refunded my money because they are not liable for my groceries nor the theft of such left behind groceries. Now, while I understand this policy, I do not understand the lack of empathy or compassion for them to replace the groceries in an honestly mistaken circumstance.
So, in essence, I now understand why people choose stores like Albertsons or Safeway - the customer service and integrity of the employees has got to be greater than what I witnessed today. I will never again shop at Sherm's - neither Food for Less or Thunderbird. While one customer may not mean much to you, I can only hope my word spreads and karma one day comes to kick you in the ass.
Also, to the people who did receive my groceries, by mistake or not, I hope that you really needed them. If not, I hope your honesty will come fourth and report it to the store. Regardless, enjoy my family's spaghetti and salad dinner I have now...
Read moreThis place discriminates against disabled people I went there because I’m disabled. I have a small camper that I tow behind my truck because I need amenities often I went there and was needing to put my groceries into my small camper refrigerator when I do that I have to pop up the top to get into the camper, the manager came outside and kicked me out the property and told me I could not camp there when I was not camping as a matter of fact, I work next-door and I was getting ready for work so I left immediately and went to my work where I parked in the parking lot of my work the police then showed up and told me I was not allowed to park in the parking lot of my work I drive 2 1/2 hours to get to work. I have disabilities so I tow a small camper. I bought groceries at the store was not even allowed to put them in the refrigerator. They all went bad and it cost me a lot of money . I’m disabled and now I have to walk to work from another parking lot because they will not allow me to park on their property. I did not have any incident with them. I did not have any issue with them. I was simply in my camper putting things away before work , when this manager guy decided that I must be homeless, which I am not or I must be a vagrant and camping which I am not,I was apparently profiled by the morning time manager . I literally work next-door it was very inconvenient. It cost me a lot of money because all my food then went bad I don’t recommend if you are disabled in anyway to shop at the store I have never been treated so badly at a grocery store by anybody my whole life , it was horrible. What a...
