I search to find a place where I could fing Hal hal goat meat to buy and I came across you and regretted it untill this day. I orderd a quarter of goat meat which consist of leg and ribs which the man over the counter told me cost $94.00 dollars in which I agree. Now upon the young leaving for the back to cut up the meat he who states that he's the owner stick a white paper on his shoulder which I found suspicious at the time but at the same time I'm thinking that maybe their normal procedure but only to find out that Sunday I open the plastic to cook my dinner the meat was unrecognizable!! There were two animal scrotum in the bag( balls) along with chopped up meat. I froze it and took it back three days later, add insult to injury he offered me cow liver stating it was good for the heart health which I REFUSED! I never got a refund and when I checked my checking account that same month they took $99. out of my account not the $94. that the receipt says, the young man at the register at that time was his son. That's what he told me. I felt violated, ashamed and hurt that you did this to me, I TOSSED THAT MEAT OUT ON JANURARY THE 1st 2024!! as to let go from what you did to me more likely because I'm black!!! I wanted to really love this place but going in and making me feel like I dont belong, not saying the islamic greetings back want look me in my face and I'm talking about the so called muslim older sister, but will speak to my husband. I finally told my husband I rather take my money else where than to feel like that. Only gave 2 stars because they have good meat, but not worth it. I traveled from western KY to this place to obtain some native meat with my Parents visiting. They were courteous and very friendly and accommodating as if they knew me as a friend or family. What leveled up this experience was the owners reaction to finding out that we traveled that far to visit his business. It was almost a 3 hour drive, but that's what u do when you want good products. Well he decided to put a small spread for us to eat before resuming our journey home. That was a hook line and sinker for me! My husband and I enjoyed it so much and we brought the left over home for my parents to enjoy as well. Thank you for an amazing experience and making our drive worth it.
