Their seasonal selection of items is hand-picked by the owner, Robin, and she is always helpful in finding the perfect items for the occasion or the person in mind. She takes time to show you items that she is excited about and always is warm and thoughtful when doing so. She is a cornerstone of the Melrose community. You absolutely can't find this kind of quality customer service everywhere. They do an incredible job with stocking their store with an eclectic verity of fabulous gifts and their chocolates are outstanding. I'm also so impressed with how they remember your name even if it's been a month since your last visit. We are new to the area and stopped in thinking this would be a welcoming spot to introduce us to Melrose. We were so wrong. The staff were rude and clearly did not appreciate are interest in this home town store. We attempted to ask a question but were ignored. There was no other customers in the store. There were two staff, both young women. It would be easy to point out there appearance so the owner can train them better but we don’t want to make waves. We do ask that customers are treated with dignity and respect like anywhere else. We will not...
