Bao did a wonderful job. He fixed three things for me: a 1976 Panasonic receiver, an equalizer that I bought in the 80s and a Sony turntable I have had since 1991. He fixed them all up perfectly for only $420.00. He had them for 6 months, but that was okay. He told me on the front end that it would take time to get the parts and I did not mind waiting as long as it was done correctly. I had already purchased two other identical receivers on eBay over the years, but they were also not in good shape so I am very happy because now the original one I have had since High School works perfectly, and he even fixed the cassette tape player, which I told him not to bother with. I'm extremely pleased with the work that was done. One thing to be aware of is that even though to me the price was very reasonable, he was concerned that I would think he was charging too much so he was hesitant to tell me the final cost after the work was done. I said he shouldn't worry about that because he does good work, and he said he just wants to make sure he is looking out for his customers. If you love your vintage audio equipment and want to get it fixed or refurbished, he's the guy. I'm looking forward to mine working for another thirty or...
Read moreTook my DBX BX3 amp to this guy for repair. Picked it up, took it home and after putting it back into my system I discovered it was in protect mode He told me to bring it back and he would make it right. 1 week later I called to check on it and he said he was busy and didn't have a chance to look at it. I finally got it back got it home and it was worse than before. Only 2 out of the 4 channels worked. The response was that was the best he could do. He did refund the money I paid. I took the amp to someone that familiar with dbx and they said the amp had been modify and rewired to the point of being unrepairable. That was a $1500 amp that is a total loss due to this shop. Now the owner will not respond to messages and I'm going to have to take him to court to get what's fair for...
Read moreAwesome family ran business! I took my Marantz 2270 receiver to them and their free estimate was a reasonable $180 for the repairs, which I agreed to. I then received a call a few days later, and was informed that the repairs would not need to be as extensive as they had expected, and that the total would now be $77! I picked up my receiver today, they even went through and replaced the bulbs behind the front faceplate (not an easy job!), as well! Lastly, I had an immediate need for a 9VAC power adapter, and they even were able to sell me one (at a great price), as well! DigiTech has earned my...
