Cajun King / Lucky Chow (Winchester) — Restaurant in Memphis

I find it very disrespectful that I come into an establishment that I frequently patronize and be told that I can't get a potato cut that comes the size of a grapefruit. I never have problems from the Hispanic lady, but every time I come and the elderly Chinese lady is there, she always tell me that something so simple as a potato being cut can't be done. I'm spending my hard earned money to get service and being refused something so simple. With that being said, the customer service when the elderly Chinese lady is there will be very poor and whenever she is there, I will turn around and walk out the door. Very ridiculous. And when asked why it couldn't be done, she just said "the chef" and started waving her hands as if he was too busy to do something so simple. So if you are to spend money there while she is there, just expect to get your food to her satisfaction...

Yesterday evening was the first time my daughter and I decided to try this new place. The inside is very clean, the young ladies at the counter were very nice and patient. I ordered the whole catfish meal with fried okra as a substitute for cole slaw, fries, and toasted bread. Both fries and fried okra was seasoned very well. My daughter loves shrimp fried rice, the portions a big enough that whatever she didn't finish last night that she ate for lunch today. She didn't like her lemonade, not because it wasn't good because they were but, because she is not used to drinking very sweet beverages. I ordered veggie fried rice and probably had two pieces of broccoli along with large chunks of bell peppers and know seasoning. I had an order of combination fried rice probably had 3 shrimps , a few pieces of chicken , a few pieces of beef and know seasoning. Actually me and my wife drained the rice in soy sauce to get some type of taste. Also we had an order of wings half lemon pepper and half buffalo AND THE WINGS WAS TERRIBLE.
