Dinstuhl's Fine Candies — Local services in Memphis

I wanted to take the time to compliment the service and my experience with this location of Dinstuhl’s. I called Monday, February 12th around 3:00 asking if they could possibly have my order ready for pickup same day. I ordered 1lb of chocolate covered strawberries and a box of chocolate covered grapes for my grandmother’s birthday. I understood it probably was not going to be possible because her birthday happens to fall on the busiest time of the year for them. The sweet lady who answered the phone (I unfortunately did not catch her name) told me she would see what she could do for me and would give me a call back. She called me back 10 minutes later and told me that she was able to expedite my order for me and was happy to do so because she too is a grandmother and would be so happy if her grand babies would do the same for her. I was able to pick up my order in 15 minutes. I cried when I got off the phone with her because my grandfather had just passed that morning and I just saw that as a sign that he was already looking out for my grandmother. The lady was so sweet to me even though she did not know what I was going through. I love everything about Dinstuhls beautiful candy shop but more so their chocolate candy. It's actually amazing to go inside and smell the decadent aroma of delicious chocolates, fudge and many many different arrays of chocolates candies, some stuffed with creme, nuts and pecans! I promise you that as you walk through the doors, you will feel like a little kid in a candy store! I remember always ordering their beautiful, homemade mints for all of the baby showers that I have had for many family members and friends over the years. I always love to get the icing on each mint, either pink or white icing and a little pink pair of baby bootis or white booties on each one! They are soo addictive! Excellent candy. I bought some while staying in downtown Memphis. I bought sea salt chocolate covered caramels, a buttercream egg, a chocolate covered marshmallow, and some plain milk chocolate. I have tried all but the buttercream egg...so far, my taste buds are in heaven...especially the caramels. I hope these guys ship within the US, because I will definitely order some new stuff when my supply runs out.

So I planned an Elvis themed party for my mother in law. Having been to Memphis, and already having these chocolates, I knew I had to have bars shipped to my house to hand out as party favors. They were a huge hit. I only had 2 bars left. Plus they sent me a small box of buttercream chocolates for free. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent customer service. Excellent chocolate.
