Southbrook Town Center — Local services in Memphis

This is a mixed review - the actual SBM was great for the memorial service we had for a biker that lost his life. Of course some of the friends that showed up made plans to do a memorial ride after the service / this is where the loss of 2 stars happened. Whoever is running security at that location was HIGHLY unprofessional! Talked bad to us and threatened us with calling the police before even speaking to us while we had just had an emotional home going service. We’re not little kids nor were we presenting a problem and he could’ve, like i said to him, asked us nicely to move to a different part of the parking lot so as to not disturb the next event - which we would’ve, no problem. (The next event was hours away btw.) Old ahh security guy that couldn’t do nun but shine a flashlight down a hall and scare himself with his own shadow - gone retire old man - clearly the job...

Not much to say really. It's mostly just a couple of clothing stores for the older, more distinguished crowd. Sunday best type attire. Inside the complex are municipal offices. There is a full time security/ Law enforcement on duty. There is a Kroger Grocery, a gas station (walk up type with booth attendant) a bank and a couple of independent businesses on scene as well. There is an awesome little shop on site that sells fashion accessories, beauty products, jewelry, wigs, etc. Great pricing on most everything in store. I even found the ruffled socks I've been looking for. Wish I had more time to spend in there. And a few more dollars to burn. I could see myself getting addicted to the place. I believe that the name of the store was Jr's Fashions, if...

I love shoppingfor hair care supplies, so we went to the Beauty Supply store and found a variety of hair oil and purchased almost every kind and I will be back because the customer service was the "BOMB", and that means that the owner and the employees were so nice and friendly. This was my second time in Beauty Supply Store, I think the store is named for it's owner, and he is a very kind man and the establishment is Black Owned. I love it when the owner of an establishment comes and waits on me it make me feel so special. And yes I will be damn ture to tell everyone I know about this store, I just lovr the area, people and the prices. You definitely will feel Welcomed in this Business , "Smile and they will Smile...
