Sweetwater Farms — Local services in Mercer

Havent tried the produce and i havent eaten the meat yet but i have ordered meat from them. Have to say im very disappointed the meat was frozen upon pick up (effects taste and ability to portion). Expected fresh meat. Also didnt like that we ordered online with a giftcard and wasnt notified that our order went over the gc amount until we showed up for pickup. Also wish they had information on their site about their meat providers (prefer free range) because i thought the meat came from their farm but the bacon has a company label and the other meat doesnt. Willing to try them again but depending on the taste/texture of the meat, i may just stick to their other products. Will provide update...

Where do I even start with this incredible business?!? In just one short year, this business and it's incredible people have become like family. The products are absolutely amazing. I started with produce boxes and then signed up for a CSA and will be a lifetime customer. I truly enjoy going in to this place each week to catch up and check out what's new. There is nothing better than helping to support the dream of a local couple! Everything they sell from the produce to the Breads (Novel and Mediterra) to the meats and baked goods as well as the snacks and kombucha are just pure perfection and what local is all about!!!!! So glad to call all these wonderful people...

It’s closed now, unfortunately. In the short time that it was there, this easily became my go-to for all my groceries.

I introduced others to it who loved it too, but I don’t think word got out in the community very well.

It’s a shame, because this is exactly the sort of shop that we’re missing out on in the Zelienople/Harmony area.

I’ll still buy from them at the farm markets when they’re going again, but I’ll really miss this shop. I’m happy I at least got to shop there...
