Pitt Stop Pub — Restaurant in Mercer

Terrible dinning today about 2 /230pm. The waitress was NOT friendly at all and it was NOT busy at all . When taking our order a older family member asked if they could order something from the kids menu because they wouldn't be able to eat a big meal she sharply told her NO YOU CANT I HAVE TO GIVE YOU ADULT PORTIONS! So she ordered her the excat meal but for a adult and it came the hot dog was half the size of a normal hot dog and she forgot the condiments she asked for and the bun was microwaved and hard ! The kids each got nugget meals she forgot the dipping sauce we ordered with them and she seemed mad she had to go get them when I asked again. The table and the salt shaker was sticky and gross. She drug a chair across the floor from a table into the men's bathroom as we were eating it was loud and ear piercing. She waited on a customer behind us and saw we were done and never asked us if we wanted a check or anything I had to go up to the bar afterwards and ask. Her main priority was the 4 people sitting at the bar. Not the 3 tables of people dinning! She was very unfriendly. I dont live in the area and we always stop when visiting family for lunch and never seen her. Definitely won't come there anymore that was terrible. The fries were all chewy and the food was nothing like it always has been . Always had excellent service and great food. This was horrible today. Pitt Stop is a small restaurant with simple foods like wings and burgers. There is also a bar here. The food at this restaurant is alright, but nothing special. The wings are very large and come with a lot of sauce on them. Rather than being tossed in a sauce, it seems like the sauce is poured over them. I was not a fan of how the wings at the bottom were totally submerged in the sauce. However, they do have a special on wings on Wednesday.

The service here was not good. The restaurant was not very busy, however it still seemed like they were understaffed. The service was slow and it was nearly impossible to get drink refills, which was frustrating while eating hot wings. Great place good food we shoot pool league out of there we bring in two teams 8 players on a team and if they bring someone with them that could be 20+ more people every other week all we ask is for the pool table to be open from 6:30 til 10:30 to shoot on he only opens from 7 til 10:30 when league starts so we can't practice all other venues open there table from 6 til 10:30 but sadly the guy manages the place wont open the table til 7pm. So he would rather make a $1.50 in that 1/2 hr then the business of possible 20+ people for 4hrs on drinks and possible food don't make sense to me so we probably going to shoot out of another bar next session thanks manager way to make your business better besides that food and people are great just don't shoot pool...
