As a Cuban heritage transplant from Miami to Mercer Pennsylvania, I have been trying to find a place that served a Cuban sandwich reminiscent of what I grew up with. I have found such a place at Common Grounds. Their staff is super friendly I'm very professional. They truly care about the service they provide. I showed up about a month ago to try their Cuban sandwich which I must admit although the best one I've had thus far was missing one thing. I spoke to the chef and she not only listen to my concern but made the adjustment to correct it and now they truly have the best Cuban sandwich I've had in over 10 years. Not only are there food selections very good, they also provide a host of special beverages and barista style coffee drinks. We've been back multiple times. There environment is welcoming and very clean. The even have a portable elevator to assist wheelchairs. Denise and all of the volunteers are just ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. All profits go back into the community. The coffee is also just perfect! And the gluten free bagel is delicious! Also really love they take the time to get to know you. Just overall great experience start to finish! Try them you won’t be disappointed! They are also inclusive for wheelchair users!
