Play With This Toys & Collectibles — Local services in Merchantville

This stop was not worth crossing the bridge from Philadelphia. Whoever was at cashier on 1/13/2024 around 2pm had really a bad attitude. My son has begged me to give him a ride here from Philadelphia for the longest. Today we finally crossed the bridge and made a trip specifically to go to the this store. First, there is a hhhuuuggee sign out front that reads "WE BUY TOYS" but when my daughter asked the cashier if she could sell her WWE action figure he said "no." My son, who has been collecting, buying and trading action figures for years, asked him the same question, with a different action figure. And the same cashier said he does not buy toys. So I needed to ask him myself why is there a huge sign out there saying that you buy toys. He said, "we don't buy individual toys because you will only get $1 for it. He further explained that he has so many WWE toys in the warehouse that WWE action figures were not worth anything. Why didn't my kids get the same explanation? They were the customers, not me. I could have stayed right in Philadelphia and supported a business where workers had better attitude and disposition like Suplex Vintage Wrestling on 628 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19147. I gave them three stars for the cute dog that was laying on the floor, the stars definately isnt for the shop. This trip off the beaten path was a waste of my time, gas and a waste of the $5 my son paid to cross the ben...

I really like this store for several reasons. First, the owner is genuinely friendly and willing to share his knowledge and opinions. Secondly, he has the prices on all their toys (there is another toy seller in the 'general area' who does not put prices on his toys, allowing the owner to make up whatever price he wants or to change it on a moment-to-moment basis (probably after he consults eBay - for this reason I avoid that seller). Thirdly, the prices at Play With This are very good - I always leave the store feeling like I got a great deal! The store may not be the biggest, but it has enough treasures that I'm confident when I make a trip that it will have been...

As someone who visits a LOT of toy stores, this place is INCREDIBLE!!! Play With This is easily one of the best collectibles stores I have ever had the pleasure of exploring. They had a massive variety of different items, varying from common stuff to some items I havent ever been able to find in person, with plenty of awesome things in between! On top of having such a great variety of offerings available, every single item I inquired about was priced really well!

Wow this was only my first time here, I can guarantee it's going to be the first of many trips to this store. It's Quickly going to become one of my new favorite places to visit, so I cannot recommend it...
