I've been a loyal customer of this store since it opened, but two incidences with the current manager at this location, Alona , have caused me swear off this store. I purchased a furniture item at another Goodwill and this store manager refused to take it back even though my receipt showed it had bought it the day before. She said I had to take it to the original location because it was in too bad of condition for her to sell (pictured below.). I also took a pic of a coffee table at her store that was in much worse shape (below) so her reason was arbitrary. Then a week later they refused to sell a framed picture to me. I had seen it on the shelf for $24.99 for 2 weeks and I finally decided to buy it the day it was half off because it had a purple tag. When I took it up the register they said the price tag had been altered by “someone” and they refused to sell it up me. They stopped short of accusing me of doing it but it was extremely uncomfortable in front of a line of customers to say the least. Then they put it back on the shelf for $99.99. It’s pictured below. Wow, this store has changed over the years and the management is now unfriendly and accusative. I feel dirty just walking inside. I am now using Facebook Marketplace and Offer Up. Now I'm dealing with friendly people who honor their price and the quality is infinitely better. Goodwill is overpriced junk and run by people who believe most of their customers are thieves. I have contacted the corporate office with a complaint. I will update this if they actually respond.
Update: The AZ Corp office of Goodwill never responded. It's 2 months later and I checked to find that the picture is still sitting on the shelf despite the fact that it's tag color makes it half off. ...
Read moreIt’s a shame the staff is the reason I will not be going back and making sure my family and friends don’t either. Last couple of visits the staff was rude, no customer service what so ever almost as they are bothered by us customers I had been going to another location because of this, today 7/23/25 I stopped in this morning as I was waiting to pick up a family member from surgery- they had opened less than an hour so hardly anyone there, the woman who was at the register was so unwelcoming, did not say one word to me and did not offer a bag, nothing. I had a bag with me and was putting my things in and she just stood there still no word, as if I was taking too long and just a bother. I donate more than I purchase at second hand stores and it doesn’t call for staff from an establishment that is based of our contributions to be treated in that manner. The doors remain open because of your customers and your community, there are plenty of capable, people oriented, appreciative people that actually enjoy their job and that’s why they should be hired nobody is forcing you to be there and that’s what it seems like with this location. This trip was enough that I will...
Read moreGreedy, rude and expensive. Goodwill now charges ten cents per bag! Like your prices for donated goods aren't high enough or something. I have donated way too many times to count at this specific location, and the last few times I was treated like trash. I had a trailer with me with a large piece of furniture. I am still in line waiting for others to donate their items and move along when I decided I would unload my own donation since I had a dolly and the means to do so. The workers yelled at me, said I seemed impatient, and I apparently wasnt allowed to unload my own items. Weird. Then, they have gotten into the habit of rejecting items. I brought in a beautiful, working condition air hockey table with all pieces and attachments. I unscrewed the legs for easier transport and was turned away and told "we can't accept broken items". One, it wasn't broken, but you wouldn't let me explain that, and two, you guys have more broken product than not on your shelves. I was told "I can't tell you to throw it in the dumpster, but there's a dumpster on the side of the strip". This place is just a...
