I give it one star because that's the lowest option I have. There is no consistency in their pricing. A while back I went there and ordered three items. The chicken enchiladas suiza was a specific price when paying cash. I should have known to let this be my first and last time since two of the items we're flavorless (mujita..above the enchiladas and a small side of beans). The enchilada was very good and piping hot and the chips were hot. Yesterday I ordered the chicken enchilada suiza and the cash price was more expensive. There was very little white sauce on it and it was lukewarm at best and the chips were cold. I only live a mile away. The mujita that I ordered had chicken and not asada. The enchiladas are approximately $18 and to the best of my knowledge that's all you get is three with no sides. They definitely are not worth that especially when they're served cold with very little white sauce and very little of the toppings it's supposed to come with it. Someone else posted that they thought this restaurant was not about the quality of food but about ambience, decorations and their weekend parties and I tend to agree. The food is extremely expensive for what you get and how terrible it tastes. I have added the pictures from my first visit. You will see the enchilada suiza, the beans and the other item on the inside and the outside. I have also included the menu and my receipt. I paid cash. The menu lists that one item as $7.99 and they overcharged me. I spoke with an employee and asked him how much the cash price was for that and he told me $8.31 which is not the cash price especially when the menu lists that item as $7.99. The employee told me to call back at 8:30 and ask for Mario who is the manager. I called back and spoke to Mario who claimed to be the owner which according to the information on this restaurant, he is not the owner (there are 3 owners and none of them are named Mario) and the previous employee said Mario is a manager. Mario was very rude and I disconnected the call because I will not tolerate rudeness especially when I had legitimate questions. As I've stated, the only thing that had any flavor at all was the enchiladas (the first time). All of the pictures after the first one came from my first visit.

I’d like to start by saying the staff is kind and the place has some nice decorations and it’s great for photos , the place has kind of a strange set up once you walk in it seems odd there’s a private like room with tables looks more like a mini quincenera hall and a stage then a small little cantina and then tables to the east for eating The first thing I did not like was the chips and salsa at the table I feel they should do way better with the chips they tasted like hard corn chips not really what I’d consider a light crispy corn chip or homemade corn chip kinda felt like a generic nacho corn chip not really suitable for table chips n salsa in that kind of environment JMO we did visit on cinco de Mayo they were super busy to be expected and I don’t think they were ready for the crowd volume but it’s a learning experience for next time the food was good but not the best and it was freezing in there people around us had to go get light sweaters in the car and they were holding their shoulders I gave it 3 stars because I know they did try and were apologetic about the wait for the holiday rush we stayed about 2 hours and it took a little over 1 hour to get our food they had a DJ and live music but our server was having a very hard time hearing us over the DJ they did grant us a free flan and apologized for the long wait on everything which I thought was nice because we didn’t complain on anything and the last thing is they charged us full price for beer when it was suppose to be a special price that night but they corrected it after we pointed it out. I really don’t have the desire to return again but I just hope they succeed as a business I wish them the best and hope they are able to improve the chips n salsa :) And maybe offer a lunch special or something because the food is very overpriced there

Kept driving past this place and wondered if it was open; partly due to the empty parking lot. When we realized it was open, we decided to have brunch there. Clearly, the large mural, is beautiful—eye catching. Upon entering, there was an artist painting a mural in the entrance. We were seated immediately, as there was probably 2-4 other people there. It was empty. But, our orders were taken. We ordered a champagne bottle ($22 special, with fruit and different juice flavors for mimosas). The beer was VERY cold, as well. For an appetizer, we ordered a cheese crisp. Sadly, I’m lactose intolerant; however, I did try it and it was delicious and perfectly crisped. Actually, all of the food we ordered was delicious. Heads up, they have BIG PORTIONS. We tried to finish our plates but there was so much food. Kimberly was our server and very sweet. She shared this was a family owned establishment and seemed passionate of how she shared. She shared how they’re slowly getting more business and they are adding more color to the ambiance. Great location. FANTASTIC SERVICE. A plus, is their music. Great music! Loud enough to have a good time but not so much that you can’t hear each other. We definitely will be back! May try a happy hour at the bar.

So i have been coming here for a while every time I go I take new friends that have never heard of the place the food is super yummy i have zero problems there. We came is 2 times this weekend for my friends birthday we did the side of the patio i can say the waitress we had Friday was very disrespectful she didn't really help with the menu i normally get the same two things and wanted to try something different that didn't happen then she charged up extra not just a small amount like she thought these girls are drunk they wont notice it no honey we did and when we told her about if she got very mad the changing $20 gratuity for 2 people is crazy we wouldn't have a problem if she would have been nice but nope. then our drinks $16 for it to be more ice then anything i swear the drink was served in a 8oz disposable cup filled with ice and when we asked for light ice the cup was half full but we paid for all 6 drinks. Saturday we went in again with a lot of friends we were charged super high one friend ordered a beer and a mixed drink she gave the waitress her card and when we checked her card they had charged her $85.46 i was like wth for a damn beer and a mix drink really go let her know then she got mad but it was her mistake not ours she was just kinda rude the whole night. Then the DJ that started later that night was very rude. my friend the birthday girl knows a lot DJs and people that go out she wanted to help promote the place she likes to go there but she was very disappointed this weekend. for us people that live in Mesa that don't really like to drive to west gate to party we wanted to see if we could help pull more people there but everything was just horrible my friend didn't even post videos that night. I feel the ladies need to pay more attention to what they are doing. they are great at giving guys their INSTAGRAM and phone numbers two of our friends came out with the girls IG i guess they are asked by the owner to take their wedding rings off so they can get more men and customers in. So our weekend these...
