Dollar General — Local services in Mesquite

I normally always go in Dollar General with no issues but today I was treated horrible by a short lady with dark hair. I usually see her mean to others but never experienced it myself. I think she was a manager name Manevar (spell check). First I asked her about a price. The price was stated in the DG paper but it was ringing up a different price she told me it was nothing she could do. She shrugged her shoulders and stated she don’t make the price. After I asked for her boss number she corrected the price. The sale tags were not on any of the sale items. I showed her another price and she got upset again. After she fixed the last price she laid my receipt on the counter while my hand was out like I was nasty. It wasn’t bc of Covid bc you previous customer was given their receipt. She did it twice. This is no way to treat a paying customer. I asked her why would she lay my receipt on the counter and saw my hand was out. She shouldn’t be allowed to be rude to customers. This is unacceptable!!! I've been shopping at this store since it opened. There are times where its pleasent and you are able to find what you need but more times i have NOT found what i needed. The wait times to check out is horrible. Sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes to check out. So if i see the line almost out the door i leave and go elsewhere. They have 2 registers but refuse to open the second register. A couple of the employees are amazing but there is the few that are very rude. The last time i was in there 2 days ago, i asked about an item i could not find stalked on shelf and the women behind the register was extremely rude about it. She did not want to help with it at all even though i waited in line 15 minutes well she slowly checked people out. She said that it was discontinued and would no longer be carried. That was the last straw i will NOT SHOP IN THIS STORE EVER AGAIN! I REFUSE TO GIVE MY MONEY TO COMPANIES THAT KEEP RUDE PEOPLE WORKING FOR THEM AND NOT CORRECT...

Great store but need new employees... The store was clean and not cluttered like most DG stores I have been to. This store has a cashier, however, who is INCREDIBLY rude and disrespectful!! She was upset that I got in her line, although the light was on, she sighed heavily and loudly and said just forget about it! we are supposed to be switching shifts but whatever so I apologized to her and she just signed again and said "whatever!" and continued to be rude and disrespectful the entire time. This young lady needs a new occupation NOT in customer service. She was angry at the world for whatever reason and that's fine if she wants to be mad, fine, but don't take a job in customer service if you are going to be rude to your customers and provide anything but service.
