Taqueria Taxco — Restaurant in Mesquite

This TAXCO is located inside a convenient market. I arrived at 8:30 pm looking for Trompo Tacos for the taco Tuesday special $1.58. Of course, they only had beef fajita and barbacoa. The grill was cleaned and all food put away. Of course, the order was $18 instead of the $10 it would have been for the special. SCAM!

IDK What I got! I Chose fajita but I received what looked like chewed up beef and was freezing 🥶 cold! Grilled Onions? Freezing cold also. Tortillas? Flour. Can you guess? Cold! Don't eat here.

Down the road is an Independent Taqueria that has $1.50 tacos, any type and they are served hot. These were pulled out of a fridge and served to customers...

I stopped by Taqueria Taxco to get a money order and had a great experience. The process was quick and easy, and the man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Afterward, I took a look around and was surprised by how much they offer. Along with your usual convenience store items, there’s a nice little Mexican restaurant inside that looked solid. Their bathrooms did not had toilet paper and smelled horrible like if nobody ever cleans them, I asked my Fiance to ask one of the ladies if they can get me some toilet paper and they said they did not had none then my Fiance ask for some napkins and they told him that they can only give him napkins if he buys food that’s horrible.
