On 4/28/24, my Fiance and son bought me a charm double link bracelet and 3 charms in store as my birthday gift for April 30th. I was told to pick up my order on 4/29/24 after 3pm, but when I arrived after 6pm, my order was not ready. The employee said she would inform the manager and walked away. I expected to speak with the manager and at the most minimal receive an apology, but instead, the employee quickly returned with the bracelet completed in less than 4 minutes.
I inquired if she had spoken to the manager, and she mentioned she would inform her immediately. She then walked two registers over and the manager, named Cindy, had been present the entire time. I explained the situation to her, she offered a brief apology and without even attempting to persuade me to keep my purchase it was as if it didn’t matter lets get this over with feeling. It was disappointing to receive such poor customer service from a well-known jewelry store like James Avery, known for its high-quality products.
There are many other jewelry stores, such as Pandora, that offer charm bracelets, but I specifically chose James Avery and was left with a bittersweet 1st timer experience. Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews. However I thought I might about my experiences at this store this month. My dear husband usually buys me charms for every special occasion. I must say every time I walk into this store, the customer service is nothing short of phenomenal.
The first time was when the charm event intentionally started, I came by myself, two young ladies, helped me Evelyn and Jaylin, were absolutely delightful. They were so patient with me my old eyes aren’t what they used to be! and helped me select charms for my granddaughter’s bracelet. They never made me feel rushed.
I returned just the other day to have charms added to my granddaughters bracelet, but was saddened to see another customer being difficult with one of the young women. I can’t quite remember if it was Jaylien or Evelynn, but I do know it was one of the same young ladies who helped me when I first visited.
I wanted to encourage them not to let one bad customer discourage them, but they began helping other shoppers and I didn’t want to hold up the line. So instead, I’m leaving this review to let everyone know: this store consistently delivers exceptional...
Read moreI don't normally write on these boards, but tonight I'm mad! Terrible customer service at the Dillards location tonight! We were never greeted or even acknowledged! My husband finally about 20 minutes later said come on, let's go! Then someone said oh we'll be right with you. Keep in mind while we were waiting, 2 employees left for their break, still weren't even greeted! 10-15 minutes later someone finally came to help us but she was clueless. She had to call for help and the lady that came to help her tried to argue with me that what i was wanting to do was not their policy.... even after i told her we had spoken to 2 DIFFERENT people at this location about this issue and both said to bring back receipt and will be no problem!!!!!
