Target — Local services in Methuen

Update: EVERYONE CHECK EXPIRATION DATES. Seriously Target, the only way you must be getting away with this is probably because people are too distracted by Chipotle across the street. The last 3 times I was there ALL of BOTH brands of organic eggs had expired over 3 weeks before. One pack was so damaged it had leaked and cemented the one below to the rack. Half of the cheeses are still expired (mostly Sargento). I really don't get how this is going on even since the expired food comes out with dates earlier than the unexpired ones I bought weeks before. Seriously, PLEASE fix this. Lawrence and Methuen have the lowest average household incomes in this part of the state. Stop & Shop across the street is a rip off and barely any better quality. Low to medium income people have relied on your business. It's not fair to sell them food they may not notice is expired until they get home.

OK for most shopping and some decent deals. The only complaint is about the food section which often has expired food both in the refrigerated sections and the non-perishable sections. Advice: in most departments, especially beauty, health, and cleaning supplies you can find some pretty good deals especially if you check out the Cartwheel App. For food, check ALL expiration dates even things you normally wouldn't think to. For example for 6 months or so the fig newtons and tazo chai tea lattes stayed on shelves despite being expired and the sargento cheezes were also expired for several months. They all even disappeared from shelves for several weeks and then reappeared with expired products again until finally getting...

Worst Target ever. Went to the target there after ordering a graphic tee that said was on stock only at that location and no one wanted to help me. The girl working there at the graphic tee department said she couldn’t help me and that the shirt I had ordered wasn’t there but not why or what happened. Then my order was cancelled while I was in the store through email right after and said it was out of stock on the email. I then found another shirt I liked and purchased it. I still have the receipt proving I used my card there and online on my bank this was the last place showing a purchase at this target location that same day. I believe I left my card there after making a purchase there. But no has ever answered their phone when I have called every day . I have called when they first open, during lunch, and even after. No one ever answers. How do I know if my card is there if no one ever answer the phone? Who is even working? I called corporate target and even they can’t reach this target. It’s horrible! This target was the last place I went too. I went directly home after that and I checked the car, my purse, in between seats, and even the clothes I was wearing. I have pictures from that same day showing what I was wearing. This is ridiculous. So what am I left to do? Cancel my card and pay for a freaking replacement. Avoid this target...

Came here to say that my cashier was above & beyond amazing!! Shane at the Methuen MA Target was THE friendliest, most personable Target employee I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering. He was super fast, powering through all long lines effortlessly & was SO sweet to every customer!! Making pleasant conversation, even connecting with the little kids & giving them stickers… Everyone knows Target on a Saturday is a zoo (plus it was the Saturday before Easter… just imagine how busy it was!)but it didn’t feel like that today. I initially overheard him while I was looking at gift cards near his register. I walked the store to find other items and came all the way back because I just had to go through his line so I could compliment him personally! While I was letting him know, the woman behind me chimed in to agree — she said she makes a point to go through his line when she sees him working because he’s just awesome. Please make sure this feedback gets shared with him, the world needs more...
