TGI Fridays,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent dining experience at your Methuen, MA location. As a regular customer who has had multiple negative experiences in the past, I decided to give your establishment another try when I received an email advertising free delivery.
My order, #17419590781534211, consisted of your newly advertised Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with no jalapeños and Loaded Potato Skins. While the delivery driver was prompt and polite, my overall experience was nothing short of abysmal.
To start, the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which I specifically requested without jalapeños, arrived with a whopping 12 pieces of the very ingredient I requested to omit. As someone who does not enjoy the flavor or texture of them, this was incredibly disappointing and made the sandwich nearly inedible as they were mushed into the coleslaw.
As for the Loaded Potato Skins, they were ice-cold and barely had any cheese. When I cut into one, it was difficult and firm. Upon biting into it, I confirmed that it was incredibly undercooked.
I immediately called the restaurant to voice my concerns and was informed that I could get a replacement order, but I would have to pick it up myself.
Despite my frustration, I agreed to pick up the replacement order. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, I was met with even more disappointment. The younger guy who handed me my food made a weird joke about not recognizing me, but then suddenly knew exactly who I was. It was unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.
Upon arriving home, I discovered that while the Chicken Sandwich was okay, the Loaded Potato Skins were still very cold and undercooked. Although they were not as hard and difficult to chew as before, they were still inedible.
Overall, my experience was a complete disaster. As a regular TGI Fridays customer who regularly uses the rewards program, I can confidently say that this was my last meal with the franchise. I would rate my whole experience a 2/10, with the only saving grace being the prompt and polite delivery driver.
I urge you to take my complaints seriously and to make the necessary changes to improve the quality of your food and service. As a loyal customer, I believe that TGI Fridays has the potential to provide a great dining experience, but until these issues are addressed, I will be taking my...
Read moreI'm not sure what is currently going on at Friday's anymore but it seems it has gone downhill. We've been there before and have never had any issues prior but tonight was awful. I'm not usually a person who writes reviews but I feel the need to put a forewarning out there about their food right now. Tonight we waited about an hour for our food to get to us, me and my family watched as others who had come after us were given their food promptly. While the waiter did come over to apologize for the waiting and stated that he did not understand why the kitchen was taking so long with our order, we did not see him that much after that. By the time the food did come to us we still had to wait a few minutes for one of our child's food to come. It became even more frustrating once we realized that the burgers we ordered were overcooked (we ordered them medium rare), the bacon on my daughter's burger was half raw, the onion rings were undercooked (I had bit into one and was met with raw batter), the fish in my fish and chips was burnt on the outside and for some reason the onion rings tasted like fish on both my daughter's plate and mine. At the end of it all we really just wanted to leave, after waiting quite awhile more to get the bill and our to go order I finally gave up and had to grab the hostess to come check us out. The hostess did go get our waiter but we watched him stand to the side for a few more minutes before he came over to us. To top off this wonderful night off as soon as we came home my daughter became violently ill. We called the restaurant to let them know that they should check if there's something wrong in the kitchen and that the food was messed up, we also told them what our daughter had eaten as well now the hostess on the phone did sound very apologetic, I did wish to speak to the manager but was told they were not available but that she would make them aware of the situation. We understand that waiters/waitresses/ hostesses are not responsible for the kitchen, and I do not believe in taking anger out on those who are not to blame. But we spent 136 dollars on poor food, semi poor service and now my poor daughter is stuck in the bathroom. Take this as a cautionary tale, think twice before you eat here. At least until they get better...
