The staff is incredible! I want to say our experience with all of the staff was fantastic and we will be back for a drink in the future BUT….we ordered the super nachos and we received 12 chips. Each chip was dressed with beans, cheese and shredded chicken but again it was 12 chips total. We were shocked. 16 dollars for a dozen chips, $1.30 a chip. I mean…that’s insane. Even for the area, grande Mexico and plaza Azteca both have similarly priced nachos and theirs are double if not triple the size. I took the picture after all three of us had TWO chips. I wish I had gotten one when we first got the app. We didn’t get any other food so I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but if this is any indication it’s not worth it. The entire waitstaff and front of house were so nice and attentive, and the 12 chips did taste good but who ever is in charge is a little insane for this price point and presentation.
**I understand this may be more authentic and as I said it was very good and each chip was dressed well!! Perhaps a name change to reflect the authenticity? As “super nacho” does set a certain expectation. Needless to say the price point for the quantity was the real issue. Thank you for your...
Read moreRudy and Santos were both amazing! I actually went twice in one week because the food was great and the service was out of this world. We couldn’t wait to come back!
Unfortunately, tonight (October 11th around 10 PM) was a completely different experience. The service was far below average — we waited a long time just to be acknowledged, to place our order, and even longer to get our drinks. Our server repeatedly asked, “That’s it?” as if he didn’t want us ordering more, which made us feel unwelcome. If customers aren’t encouraged to come in around that time, please make it clear, because I work nearby and would like to know when we’re actually welcome.
We had only ordered appetizers and drinks, but even that turned into a 45-minute wait. After finishing our first appetizer, we ordered a second, and the server seemed confused about what we wanted. When our food finally came, no one checked on us again, and we had to go ask for our check ourselves.
To top it off, the Shirley Temples were flat and not made well. This visit was frustrating and disappointing, especially after having such great experiences before. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll be returning...
Read moreMy first visit today was extremely disappointing. I was excited to try this new neighborhood Mexican restaurant and brought my 4 year old daughter along. We were seated right away, and the waiter came within a few minutes to take our drink order. However, I had trouble finding the drink options on the scannable menu while the waiter just stood there, not mentioning that they had actual menus they were giving other tables.
After finally getting our drinks, the waiter said they would return to take our food order. Thirty minutes passed. During that time, I watched other parties arrive, place their drink and food orders, and even get chips to eat, while my 4-year-old and I waited patiently — still without a proper menu.
When the waiter finally returned, I was so frustrated that I just paid for the drinks and left. I told the hostess about my experience, and she tried to find the manager. After waiting a few more minutes, I left my name and number, but management never followed up.
Needless to say, I won’t be returning...
