Had them to verify an electrical relaywas bad as requested by supplier of the equipment (had a replacement on the way before call), instead of saying they don’t have the expertise for that, they sent a tech out to service. Spent 3hrs on the issue to say it wasn’t the relay. The next day the relay comes in, it’s replaced. Problems solved. The bill I was giving was around $300 with a 4% charge for using a debit(this was later refunded because that’s not their policy on debit cards). I called to request a partial refund since the guy didn’t solve my problem after the answer was already giving and they refused because the tech was there for that time.
I did not expect a full refund and never asked, I just thought it was be appropriate to get some of the money back since he didn’t do what was requested. And suggested an opposite answer of what phone techs have concluded.
I do not recommend using, since customer satisfaction was not the goal. It seems they want to run their time up along with possibly providing incorrect service for the job. They will take advantage of you if you don’t...

Of course, since this post I've been putting together more things I wanted done...which were handled with professionalism and courtesy. No question was too stupid and they took the time to explain this process. Reed Electric is a solid 5 out of 5! Casie manages scheduling like a boss and it's apparent that Tom treats his team with respect - very rare these days. Thanks to all of you!
Additional comments.. Had them back for more electrical upgrades! And of course, on time, found that something I thought needed replacing did not (I feel other companies would have replaced the unit rather than letting me know I just needed a new bulb - yep, bonehead move on my part) which totally illustrates their professionalism. HOPE my upgrades are done but if I have any issues (and I do get my Generac serviced) they are who I call and recommend to anyone needing outstanding...
Read moreAfter the last ice storm my parents called me to ask my husband to look at the main wiring from the roof as it had become dislodged. When he evaluated it he found that it was more than he could take care of and called Reed Electric to evaluate. They came out quickly and determined that it was a fire hazard and needed to be repaired as soon as possible. They provided us with an affordable estimate and rearranged their schedule so they could get it repaired the next week. They did find a few other issues during the repair that added a small amount to the overall bill but they called us to discuss before proceeding. They completed the work quickly and efficiently and called us again to ensure that everything was working correctly and to make sure it was completed to our satisfaction.
