I went to El Dorado because I thought they were top notch furniture store and boy was I ever wrong. Since September I have been dealing with El Dorado and as of today they have delivered to my home five times already.I had gone to El Dorado in September to pick out furniture for my new home in Orlando.
The first trip they delivered my night stands one was damaged, dresser damaged, mattress ripped and dirty, platform bed sides damaged and entertainment set the door was hanging of the hinges as the were taking it out of the box. I called in and they did a replacement order for all the above.
Second trip they brought my mattress was good, the sides for my bed ok still have some imperfection but not a bid deal. Entertainment set good until the glass started sliding forward. Dining room set was a complete disaster. The chairs were ripped also the brass part of the chair on most of them were damaged and so was the base of the table. I called El dorado cause my sales lady was out of town and it seemed like I was getting the run around so I ask to speak with the manager. I expained to Adones what happened he apologized but told me I would have to wait another month before the new shipment came in. They called me back and said they were able to get me the dining room set for the next delivery.
Third delivery brought the glass top for the entertainment that was ok. Dining room set as they started taking it out the of the box the base of the table and the chairs were worse the the first dining room set.
At this point I decide to wait for my sales lady to come from out of town to help me select another dining room set. I did find another set that I liked although it cost me significantly more money but I thought that this would solve my problem with the dining room table. I also order the chest for my bedroom set. While I was their I spoke with a other another manager by the name of Juan. I explained to him my disappointment with everything that had transpired and that I didnt expect that from El Dorado furniture. All he said was he wasnt sure why this was happening. I asked him if he could please have someone check the furniture before sending it out. Juan told me that would not be a problem that he would make sure that prior to the delivery date he would have them check my order so that I would not have to encounter any further issues.
Fourth delivery was the new glass top and base for the new dining set and the chairs were on back order so I had to wait another month or so. Not to my surprise the base was damaged.
Fifth delivery was the 8 chairs that I had been waiting for, the base for the table, replacement of my dresser and the new chest I had ordered. So guess what ? The base of the table came without a box and already built along with the mirrored dresser that also came unboxed. Both had visible damage. The 8 chairs came in boxes and when each one was taken out they all had significant amount of damage !!!!!
I have had all I can take at this point. I called El Dorado and spoke with the manager Juan who had promised me to have the merchandise check before leaving the warehouse. In which I strongly believe that the table base and dresser were someone else returned furniture and there is no way that they could have possibly check this before going out for delivery they would have seem the damage a mile away!! I have paid top dollar and in return cheap product. They are over priced furniture store for the quality that the consumer receives! I am horrified by the atroshes furniture I recieved time and time again. How much more do I have to endure? I had never expected this from such a big name as El Dorado.
The only positive thing through this nightmare was that I did have an amazing sales lady by the name of Maray. She made my shopping experiences amazing and excited to furniture my new home. In addition she has done all she can to help with the issue at hand but honestly this is completely out of her hands. What good does it to to have an amazing sells person when they are delivering horrible...
Read moreI was tired of visiting many furniture stores so i decide to visit el Dorado Furniture at miami airport blvd. The minute I step in the store my sales associate Rachel Hernandez deposit all her attention to my needs and she make me feel confortable. My husband and I were looking for a bedroom set for our new home and she was so thoughtfull in offering herself to go to our home and take the right measurement so that everything will fit in place. Once in our home she came with another co-worker and she help us pick the right color for the bedroom walls and it looks totally splendid. Ms Hernandez also show us the advantages of a tempurpedic mattress and since we bought sleeping has a total different meaning and my husband loves it. We will definately go back to this store and buy the rest of furniture we need. Can not wait to buy my livingroom and dinningroom sets. I will recomend this store to all my friends and family and also i will recomend Rachel Hernandez as the best sales associate ever. She is not also beuatiful but she will make your furniture shopping likes is heaven in earth!!! Read moreI have been a client since the 90s and have always purchased my furniture with El Dorado mainly because I trusted their customers service and quality. Unfortunately I few months ago I purchased my patio furniture at this store, the Representative was extremely professional and gave me outstanding service. However the furniture quality has turned out to be horrible and although our sales representative has tried to assist us in placing the insurance claim and replace the furniture. The company continues to make it difficult for us to change the piece. I can’t understand when did this company got so large that they no longer care to provide their clients with effective service. I’m tired of waiting for claims to determine if or not to change the furniture. I can honestly say I will not ever again purchase at this store after this. I feel bad with the sales representative she has proven to be very professional and proved she has tried to help us as much as she could. It’s the office management that’s not taking responsibility nor actions to ensure the customer receives service.
