Estancia Hotel — Hotel in Miami Springs

I frequented this establishment a few times a week, but wont anymore as of November 6, 2014. On that date, when I went to return my room key & collect the $5 deposit, my partner remained in the room for just a few more minutes(putting makeup on etc). She related to me how the cleaning staff rudely told her (upon her exiting the room)(are you ready for this?) "Mami ya estas pasadita" accusingly meaning we were (allegedly) past our 3 hour alloted rental period. Mind you, we CERTAINLY were not. In fact, we had well over an hour left. When I called the manager to relate the completely rude, out-of-place and ludicrous comment from the riff-raff mediocre employee, she tried to "explain" to me that since I had turned in the key, she then asked the cleaning crew to redress the room. That's fine. Totally understandable, but the comment from the low-life ? Out of context. Outrageous! I'll NEVER go back there and if you go, BEWARE of the garbage staff. And finally, watch out because the security guys like to "check out" and "eye" your woman... For an establishment that should exceed in "discretion", La Estancia is definitely lacking. They lost my business. ...

Front Desk staff is very polite. Rooms overall are clean but could be cleaner (im a bit obsessive about that though). I saw some spots that concerned me like the audio machine had something stuck on it. But overall very clean. Individual garages for all the themed rooms. Lots of amenities that my spouse and I appreciated; Dance floor, multi color led lighting, jacuzzi tub and MANY mirrors. There is a Wendy’s less than a 2 minute drive away and a cvs close by. Bring your own toiletries like body wash toothpaste face and hair care. Basically everything because they only provide two small hand soaps. They DO have blankets but you have to ask front desk. My husband and I had searched and called a few places similar to the property and were turned off by the outrageous prices for the amount of time given. Not Here!! We got the Canyon Suite from 2am to 11am the next day and the price was very reasonable. The room was exquisite! It didn’t smell, there were no bugs of any sort, and everything was very clean. The front desk attendant made you feel welcome and the place didn’t seem sketchy at all. My husband and I felt safe. When we woke up we asked for a late check out and we were allowed to stay until 12. Honestly best experience. We will be coming back for sure! We have to try the jungle...
