Avoid this place. There is nothing luxury about these apartments. They offer the lowest quality appliances inside the units and paper-thin walls. Get ready to hear your neighbors talk all day long. The building doesn’t have trash cans anywhere. The trash location downstairs is always overflowing with garbage. There is only one lady to clean the entire building and she can’t keep up. This was true even during times of COVID, so the building is gross. The gym hasn’t had any weights at all for 8 months so it’s useless. There is no reduction in your rent to compensate for the fact that they took away the weights and never brought them back. There are bugs coming up from the lake and they infest every single part of the building. Get ready to deal with that non-stop. They stopped changing the air filters inside the apartments. This was a service that was offered as part of the rent. No rent reduction or compensation has been offered for the removal of this service. The visitor parking is undersized significantly for the size of the building and it is constantly overflowing with vehicles. There are people parked in the roundabout at the entrance to the building blocking ingress and egress. The first floor constantly smells like cigarettes at the east end of the building. Nothing has been done about this. The quality of the tenants can only be described as terrible. Just imagine if all of Hialeah moved into one entire apartment building. The business center is useless. The printers do not work, and they don’t have paper. There are other rooms available, but they are also useless. They close too early and don’t serve any purpose. The entry door system sucks. It looses it’s land line connection and doesn’t work, so you have to go down and let people in. Additionally, it’s not very intuitive to use, so visitors are always lost on how to use the system. The package center is another nightmare. Amazon, FedEx, and UPS just throw the packages in the rooms instead of leaving them in storage lockers. So they are susceptible to being stolen. The management has been notified of this but has done nothing. Because the building is so awful, there is a revolving door of people moving in and out all the time. Get ready to have the service elevator blocked on weekends and trucks blocking the entrance to the parking garage. The building is owned by a large property management company, so they do not care about you in the least. If you can’t pay your rent, they will do whatever they are legally mandated to do but will proceed with evictions once they get the chance. You are just a number at La Vida. To be clear, the management isn’t the worse, but their hands are tied which makes them useless. There is also no access to...
Read moreHonestly, my experience with LA Vida has been wonderful. From the very beginning, until now, which marks my 2nd month here.
I'm originally from this area, I went to PreK at KIDS USA, Elementary at Fairlawn, & Middle at Kinloch so this area will forever carry a sweet spot in my heart. But never did I think I'd be back...
However, when I'm in my apartment at LA VIDA, I completely forget I'm back at my roots. There is no such thing as perfect but, this is pretty dang perfect considering the inflation in rent and EVERYTHING in Miami (& everywhere) over the last couple of years.
We are centrally located. Close to the airport. AND, we have an amazing waterfront view with spectacular views of the SUNRISE & SUNSET (both my favorite).
I wasn't here for the old management or staff, but from my experience so far, I'd say everyone here is trying their best to make our new home comfortable and welcoming and that's all I can ask for, management that cares and is actually helpful.
From the tour, to the attentiveness of my million emails before signing, to the actual signing process, and now living here, I'm truly enjoying my experience at LA VIDA & my view, is pretty dang spectacular, and staying central made all the difference.
Overall, because I know nothing is perfect, I'd give this place a 5/5 every time. Thank you to Carlos! Who was the staff member to be super helpful and attentive with us.
Upon moving in, they even had a cute little welcome package. As a brand specialist, I can honestly say that it's always the little details that matter. It was very unexpected but appreciated, and I can appreciate that they do their best here.
THANK YOU...

Location: 5 Stars La Vida Apartments is a wonderful place to live. It is quite and secluded from the bustle of the city which takes 13 mins on a good day to get to and only 8 minutes from Miami International. Within walking distance or just a few short miles you have all sorts of shopping centers and groceries stores.
