I have been a client for many years and to be honest with you, I have witnessed and heard about a range of serious concerns, from mistreatment of employees to questionable practices regarding food safety and tips. The icying on the cake, happened the last time I was there, it really made me want to never come back not be part of this. As I was waiting for my food, there was a male customer close by that slapped one of the waiter’s butt, which made the employee feel very uncomfortable. To the point that he went to his manager, and his manager did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to have his staff be respected by the client. I mean really????? As I observe this time of behavior, it makes NOT want to be part this anymore by keeping my mouth shut. Over the years I have seen many instances where the employees have not trated unfairly, with no respect nor with dignity. Here are some examples of what I have seen and what has been shared with me: 1- Employees are not able to have their cell phones with them, in case there is an emergency. 2- There are camaras everywhere, to the point that the owners listen to the employees’ conversations at all times. 3- Employee being sent home because their nails are painted a certain color, or because management does not like their hair cut, too many piercings or better yet… The waitress looks very sharp, while using very little makeup…But they are required to have it removed and sent home. 4- When someone applies, they have been required to work half a day to see if management likes their work. Employees DO NOT get paid for this trail time. 5- The tips are NOT given to the employees. The restaurant keeps at least half. 6- One of the owners is only nice to the girls that are “NICE “to him… that is considered harassment. 7- Management deliberately deletes the expiration dates from it’s products and sells them EXPIRED, not to lose money, but willing to intoxicate its clients. 8- Apparently, management sends out message to all employees in the middle of the night while they are sleeping… I mean there is NO work life balance what so over.

And then there's Jaicy, who never fails to impress me with her impeccable service. She is always quick to check if my coffee is how I like it and if I need anything else. She goes above and beyond to ensure that I have a pleasant experience every day.

Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant a few times, but after my latest visit, I feel compelled to share my experience. The food is decent, but what really stood out—and not in a good way—was the behavior of the manager, Marcela.
I overheard Marcela talking badly about the management, which made me uncomfortable as a customer. It was odd and unprofessional for a manager to air grievances about the leadership in front of guests. To make things worse, she seemed to take issue with how the restaurant is run, while also mentioning that she’s salaried, yet somehow still feels the need to take servers' tips. This behavior felt very inappropriate and disrespectful to the staff.
Additionally, it was evident that Marcela was micromanaging and belittling her employees, which created a tense atmosphere that was not pleasant to witness. Employees deserve to work in a positive, supportive environment, and it was clear that was lacking here.
