This place has the most unique set of features. In the middle of the Little Haiti neighborhood these 2.5 acres of parcels that have been transformed over 45 years into a wild and beautiful little farm with 4 of the oldest/largest trees in Miami thriving among the goats, emus, chickens, pigs and cats. We stayed in the canopy room of the tree house and got to feel the breeze while we slept above the soft noises of sleepy farmlife at night. We woke in the morning to animals ready to be fed by Ray and Leslie tidying up the outdoor kitchen for us to be able to cook our breakfast and drink our coffee on the patio in the morning sunshine filtered through the palm, almong and jumbo gumbo trees. What a treasure. There is magic in the land here that Ray and Leslie tend with all the little school children running around during the week for the attached farm school this place is a wonderland of delight. Read moreThis place is interesting mostly because of it's location, but don't be fooled. The plants look pretty nice. The animals looks kind of sad. It is not a farm. It is barely a garden. The long-term residents who rent apartments on the property had some troubling stories about the owners/landlords, to put it mildly.
