I was in the store and my elderly grandmother and my children were in the car waiting on me to come back out with my child’s medicine. I suddenly heard the horn blowing but I don’t think anything of it so I continued to check out with my items and when I walked out my grandmother was in front of the door crying and screaming someone help me and the security that works at the store was opening the door after he locked it on her and left her and my children fearing for their lives the criminal came encounter with me calling me and my grandmother and someone else names and the security stayed on his cell phone watching everything he didn’t tell the guy to leave from my understanding the guy said he is working for Presidente and the employees were taking up for him after we left because my grandmother took some medicine and we went to the police dept. the guy still was at the store pushing carts and when the police he was still talking trash. I am very disturbed and this is very disgusting behavior especially if he’s saying he is an employee of Presidente supermarket.IF I CAN RATE THIS STORE A ZERO I WOULD DON’T GO HERE YOU ARE NOT SAFE ITS FULL OF CRACKHEADS AND BASERS THIS IS RIDICULOUS BEHAVIOR THE SECURITY WILL SIT THERE ON HIS PHONE WHILE THINGS ARE HAPPENING TO YOU WHILE YOU ARE BEGGING FOR HELP THEY DON’T EVEN HELP THE ELDERLY AND KIDS SMH, I’ll be contacting my lawyer tomorrow 10/25/2023 first thing in the morning you are held responsible if something would have happened to my family what would you...

The prices are good if you get buy the "specials", shady people? well, if you consider yourself shady (since you've obviously shopped there) then you can say THAT. Customer service is ok except for the meat market where you only get good service if you speak Creole since the butchers are 99% Creole and don't know or speak English or Spanish very well and they also don't know how to cut meats that are preferred by others. They also act as they are working on other things and leave you waiting so they won't have to help you. I've literally waited for 30 min.+ until the butcher that was ACTUALLY helping someone else finished and helped me. Then and only then did the one that pretended to work on other things stopped what he was doing and started helping Creole ...

Though the meat was not that fresh. Beef and pork look darker, chicken look very yellow. This was at the stand. The packed meat was way better.

What I did not like was that there were no carts at all. What the staff said was that people use to take their carts home and there is a vehicle that gathers them all and it was damaged.
