Just had an experience that left me with bad feelings. I called earlier today to ask them to place on hold a game for me that was supposed to come with special magnets on purchase. Person on the phone said no problem, they'll hold the game and magnets. I go in later, a different person rings me up and says the magnets are preorder only even though the email I received said "Purchase this game" not preorder. So I left after purchasing and realize he slapped on a game warranty without deliberately asking me. Yes, it probably was on the pad and I should have looked closer, but he definitely did not ask me if I wanted a game warranty. So basically inconsistent messaging plus sneaking charges. I don't frequent GameStop that much and this whole experience basically reminded me to not bother in the future. 2 stars because the employees were polite and the person on the phone...

I knocked in on the door and a young man answered. He said he was the only one working and on break. I asked when the break stated he said it just did. I said I had items to sell. He said he wouldnāt take any of it. However I know that GameStop does that the items I have because I checked online. He says online is incorrect. I asked to speak to the manager. He says thatās not possible and shut the door on my face. Waste of time. He obviously doesnāt care about his job and was just looking to not work with people until the store closed. Donāt go to this store itās a waste of time. Not sure why heās getting paid for not...
