Optum - Little Havana — Local services in Miami

I am not a member of this place so I don't know their business but what I DO KNOW IS HOW YOU ARE AND AREN'T SUPPOSE TO TREAT PEOPLE. I was in the area and had been walking in the heat for about 15 minutes so when I saw the place I thought to go in because I just wanted to use the restroom and get a sip of water. Today was insanely hot and humid and I was sweating profusely. I went in looking for someone who worked there so I could ask for permission to use the bathroom and I knew that in this area that was predominately white Spanish that my being black was sticking out but GOOD GOLLY DID THIS WOMAN WHO WORKED THERE MAKE ME AWARE OF HOW SORELY I WAS STICKING OUT. I asked her repeatedly if I could use the rest room in English and in Spanish and she was looking at me shocked and cautiously, reading what the badge of my jacket said which was the name of my security company mind you and still that didn't stop from there. She showed me where the rest room was and I politely said thank you and as I began to wash my hands and put water on my face, she comes back in and fake asks me if everything was okay. I mean, I am using the rest room , what issue would I be having ??? Then she quickly comes back in with an air spray and rubber gloves looking in each bathroom stall and spraying and looking around as if I WAS TOO STUPID TO SEE THAT SHE WAS JUST THERE TO KEEP AN EYE ON ME. Then she finally says to me, okay but you can't stay long my boss only lets customers use the rest room. I said okay but it's like lady what do you think I came here to do, move in??? Now I am one to give people the benefit of the doubt but from everything that transpired, it just felt like the issue was a classic case of NO...

What a great experience !!!! I just became an Optum Little Havana patient. I was really impressed by the quality, professionalism and care this practice offers. From the ample and well organized reception area to the different rooms and equipment the quality and cleanliness of it all is very fulfilling. When it comes to personal attention, one cannot ask for more. Efficient, timely, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, caring and reliable. All the people I interacted with were fully bilingual, courteous, respectful and very dignifying. On top of the high quality doctors, assistants and skilled technicians they offer other services that I am yet to explore and experience. Dr. Lester Carrodeguas is experienced and highly qualified and has an incredible ability to comunicate and help patients. I highly recommend this practice and look forward to a long lasting...
