K Rod Kutz Barbershop — Local services in Miami

Was there today 04/24/2025 sat in last chair on right side closer to tv. Nice atmosphere but all I wanted was a blowout on the side and back and and my face lined up idk if it’s a language barrier or what but I said dont touch my line in front even touched it. Long story short is when he pulled out liners and lined my side he went across my front which I didn’t want smh the but he kept turning me left then right but never in a direction where I could see the mirror. Once finished guy tried to fix it by trying to paint it with the bs enhance ments he took my line up a good inch from where my line initially started is no way it was done by mistake. Im definitely going to file a civil lawsuit if my hair doesn’t grow back if he didn’t like black guys i could’ve waited for the young kid with the Nike sweats and j’s he was fire with the clippers. I have plenty pics depressing af my plans are ruined for the next few weeks!!!!!! After reading such amazing reviews I was excited to visit this barber shop. After walking in the door I was not greeted by anyone. The 4 men cutting hair all just stared at me blankly. Finally someone who was sitting in a chair getting their haircut asked me if I was looking for someone, to which I replied I wanted a haircut. He asked another guy who looked like he just graduated high school if he was available and told me to sit in his chair and show him a picture of what I wanted. After I asked him if they take credit card and realized he spoke no English I asked again in Spanish to which he replied no. Cash only. So I left. Very disappointed in my experience especially since so many people said the vibes and atmosphere here are great! Maybe they’re only welcoming if you’re Latino? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Off to find somewhere else to get a haircut. If you do decide to come here proceed...

This is THE barbershop to come get your cut if you're in the area. This place is located on 12th AVE near the Marlins Park area. Even if you're a little bit East in Brickell or Downtown, it's worth the drive. I've been coming to K-Rod Cutz ever since it opened years ago and I won't go anywhere else.
