We stayed here twice before and after our cruise. first, the positives. It was new, clean, well decorated and comfortable enough. The first night we were on the second floor so it was relatively quite, though we could hear people above us and in the hall way from time to time. All in all I would have rated our first stay a four. Communication was difficult, if you speak spanish, you'll be just fine. It's in a bit of a sketchy area, but they lock the doors at night so it felt secure and safe.

It was the little things that I missed. For example, there are no hairdryers in the room, which may not seem big to some, but to me was very disappointing. There was very little counter space and there was no phone in the room, which we didn't notice until we wanted to phone the desk.

On the way back, they put us in the first room off the lobby, there is no sound barrier so we heard people coming in and out all night long it seemed. I was woken up every half hour. Our television didn't work. They only gave us one towel between the two of us. They wouldn't allow early checkin, even though I requested it via email weeks in advance. They DID say they could keep our bags, but they just left them in the middle of the lobby with no one even in the lobby to watch them, which didn't make us feel comfortable. If you are prepared for just a bed, however, it's clean, nicely renovated, and the...

Pros: price, cleanliness, staff, access to airport

Cons: Water bottle in the room was pre-opened. noisy rooms, i.e., you can hear every little sound in the lobby in your room. Water pressure in the shower was a trickle and no that's not a figure of speech. I actually removed the showerhead and that did not even help. Even with a trickling shower, the drains were slow.

General: The place was a budget hotel with a nice lobby. I noticed comments about the neighborhood, but I had no problems with walking in and out of the area in the evenings and into the night. I realized that I was in the city and acted accordingly. It was about a 15 to 20 minute walk to where things started to get interesting along 8th Ave in Little Havana. I would stay there again, but I would ask for a room as far from the lobby as possible due to the way the sound carries from the lobby.

The photo is the roof top area. I was up there early in the morning. It looks like they might have service offerings up there, but when I was there they did not. Either way it was a nice place to sit and...

We were kept awake by the noise from the hotel bar. The bass/music was so loud that we couldn't sleep all night (despite using earplugs). The TV didn't work. Foreign hair in the bathroom and no water pressure in the shower. The night porter is from another company and dosn't speak english (only spanish).

In addition, our rental car was damaged by the driver of the valet parking. The hotel doesn't feel responsible for the damage - they told me, that I have to talk to the Valet-company. The Valet-company doesn't feel responsible either. They charged us twice for the Valet-parking: in cash and by credidcard.

Management is not available for complaints. We have tried it personally ("I am only a small employee, the manager comes back tomorrow" - the next day the same statement), by phone ("the management is not here at the moment, call again tomorrow") by e-mail (three times - to different e-mail-addresses - no reaction).

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all! I wouldn't stay another night in this hotel, even if it...

For the price it was great, clean, New, and nicely maintained. I have felt safe and enjoyed my stay. It's in Little Havana walking distance to Calle Ocho and food, stores, and nice bars. The room looked exactly like the picture. I slept great in the bed. The staff was friendly and check in was smooth. My tv wasn't working but staff took care of that. There is free WiFi that works really well. Great deal if you're a budget traveler! Cons: if you're staying for a few days you should know there is no phone in the room so u have to go down stairs for every question of staff. No ice machine at all in hotel. Even your most basic hotel has ice machine. No hair dryer, fridge or microwave. Very few ppl speak English but it's Little Havana so if you don't speak any Spanish you may struggle. For a short trip I'd definitely stay again bc I know how to prepare and exactly what to expect now!

Fairly good budget alternative. The hotel is a boutique hotel only in the common areas. The rooms are not boutique, they are very basic but functional. With a little better lighting the rooms would perhaps feel a little cozier. (My tip is to turn on the bedside lamp instead of using the ceiling ”operation table” lights). Don’t miss the fourth floor roof top area, beautiful view. Kind front desk staff but not very attentive for other questions than checking you in and handling parking. Only wi-fi in the reception as of this rating. Be sure you are using the correct wi-fi network, there are about 4-5 different ones. “Jefferson Wi-Fi network” is the one that works well inte the lobby. Comfortable bed. Clean rooms and premises. Easily accessed by car (airport is 15-30 min away depending on traffic). The bus also runs here från Brickell train station.
