The House of Findings is the ultimate destination for all vintage lovers. Not only is this charming boutique so beautifully decorated inside, but the window design is always on point and so much fun. It’s great for IG pics! I’ve known the owner, Mayra Gonzalez since the early 90’s when she opended her first store on South Beach, and she’s been my fashion guru ever since. I can always count on Mayra and her staff of cuties to select the perfect piece that would best suit my style. This eclectic boutique carries everything and anything you can imagine. Mayra has such incredible style and an eye for fashion unlike no other. Some of my most recent pieces I’ve purchased from HOF has been a fabulous kimono quilted jacket, tiger printed palazzo pants, 70’s floral knee length dress, fun printed 2 piece 80’s outfit, leopard printed car coat, and my all-time favorite piece so far…a gorgeous wool & fur trimmed “Schiaparelli” coat, the ultimate finding! This gem of a store is a treasure box for anyone who loves fashion. Mayra and her team always provide the best customer service to all of her clients. It’s always an amazing experience when I visit the House of Findings each and every time. I love you Mayra and can’t wait to see you...

Was looking for some vintage jewelry and was in the area. The person inside had the store closed and was on the phone ignoring me standing at the door. I motioned her to come over and asked when she'd be open, she said come back in 15. Okay, visited other stores, came back in 20. She's still on the phone, ignoring the other 4 people aside as well as myself. Oh, and it's slightly raining. You can see her sitting down talking on the phone in the picture. I relayed her message to the others and left. What a huge letdown.

Edited after owner's response furthering the display of bad customer service (she left a much 'nastier' one on my Instagram comment). Not being able to dispute or deny any of my experience, she writes some absurd line about how this reveals 'more about me'. Okay, you got me, I visit vintage stores??? I left an honest reviews based on my experience?? I don't like standing in the rain while the owner is sitting comfortably in her store watching us from the outside like we're supposed to know who she's talking to and about what?! Maybe you could've actually SAID SOMETHING? Maybe your reply shouldn't have been so defensive when it was a truthful account of events?...

Where do I even begin?? Mayra is amazing! I first met her when she had her pop up shop on Cape Cod a few years ago and was super excited when she opened a store. For the record, I went to her shop every day I was on vacation on the Cape. Fast forward to this year, I scheduled a Facetime appointment with her because I wanted to be able to support her even though I wasn't there in person. She remembered my size and the styles I liked 3 years later! For me, I worry about feeling obligated to get something because I would feel like I was wasting someone's time, but Mayra wasn't at all pushy and was honest about whether or not I should get something or if she was worried it would fit me. She was ready to measure any of the clothes she had to double check if they would fit me. She wanted to make sure I loved everything I got, and I do! I just got everything in the mail and everything fit so well!!! I cannot rave enough about the House of Findings and Mayra. There's something for...
