I visited this spot based on glowing Yelp reviews, and what a journey it was. Tucked away in the corner of a mini mall, it’s a bit tricky to find, but I was eager to see if it lived up to the hype. I started with the special of the day—the sando—and an order of beef dumplings. Unfortunately, the dumplings were underwhelming, lacking the depth of flavor I had hoped for. This had me concerned about the rest of the meal, so I shared my thoughts with the chef. To my surprise, he took it as a challenge and generously offered a roll on the house. That’s when things took a turn for the better. I sampled the torched salmon, spicy yellowtail, and spicy tuna rolls—each one outshining the last. The standout was the tuna roll, featuring an incredible passionfruit sauce that added a perfect balance of brightness and heat. Chefs CJ and Lewis truly elevate the experience, making guests feel right at home with their hospitality and skill. Despite the initial hiccup, the sushi won me over, and I’ll definitely be returning for some of the best rolls in Miami.

Best sushi spot in Miami - such a hidden gem!! I’ve eaten here at least once a week for the last 7 months and have never had a bad experience or a bad menu item. Great for a nice date night, a quick bite, or even a fun happy hour. Vibes are always on point and you can tell they are meticulous about ingredient quality. I’ve seen the fish they fly in, and there’s a freshness to it that I don’t experience at a lot of the sexier/flashier spots in town. Plus, you watch them make everything right in front of you, so you know it’s clean and made with love. The Chirashi bowl is one of the most well-rounded dishes I’ve ever had. Truly a next level poke bowl with tuna, salmon, kampachi, and ikura. Unreal. And I’m not usually one for fried food, but the crispy salmon rice is divine. Even basics like the spicy tuna roll are outstanding! Hand Roll Mondays deserve a special mention as well. They’re only every other week, but the addition of a live DJ and a new unique cocktail makes for an amazing start to the week. This is the spot!

Yoso Sushi is an intimate and modern sushi haven. Everything we tried was a solid 10/10. We started with two crispy rice appetizers—tuna and yellowtail—both absolutely delicious. The team surprised us with a seasonal mango-inspired hamachi salad that was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavor. The Yoso Roll was a standout—layered with complex yet perfectly balanced notes. We also managed to fit in the torched salmon roll, which took us on a total flavor adventure. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and presented. The chefs and manager were warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate—it really elevated the whole experience. Plus, the restaurant is tucked into a super cool, sanctuary-like mall setting, which added to the charm. We left with our hearts and bellies full. Hands down, the best sushi experience I've had in Miami. Already looking forward to going back!

Yoso Sushi Miami is an absolute must-try for sushi lovers. We went with the 'Sushi for 2' tasting menu, which turned out to be a deliciously curated journey through some of the best flavors sushi has to offer. Our experience began with the Salmon Tataki, which was light, fresh, and packed with flavor. The Omakase Chef Selection featuring bluefin tuna, hamachi, and salmon belly was simply phenomenal. Every nigiri melted in our mouths, and the quality of the fish was outstanding.

Next, we enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura Roll, perfectly crisp and balanced with creamy and fresh notes, adding a delightful texture to the meal. To wrap up, we had a Yuzu Cheesecake for dessert perfectly cooked, with the yuzu adding a bright, citrusy finish that left us wanting more.

The chefs, Khristian and Deniz, not only showcased incredible skill in each dish but also made us feel entirely at home with their friendliness and warm hospitality. The ambiance of Yoso is also stunning; the colors and decor make it ideal for capturing some memorable photos. I can’t recommend this place enough it's a gem for sushi enthusiasts looking for a memorable dining...
