Update: Owner refused to repair the remote because he didn’t like the below mentioned review. I have asked him for a refund and he’s acting entitled. I don’t understand, why should I give you a good review if you can’t even make a basic repair. Please go and learn some basic electrical stuff. I have added a screenshot.
Old review: While the owner seems to be a sweet person, I found the work highly unsatisfactory. I took a PCB board for a minor soldering job, and the repairman (a senior person) was reckless with it and burnt the copper circuit and the wires on the board.
Ideally, when you solder something, you're required to be gentle, clean it properly, be careful with the solder's temperature, add flux, and test it. Despite paying USD 50/- for such a minor job, none seems to have been done, and the table's remote still does not work. The repairman said that he ended up damaging it, but the owner dismissed it as a non-issue.
I do not doubt his intentions, but if you do not have expertise, you should not merely take up work to make quick bucks. I am left with a dysfunctional 300$ standing desk frame because the PCB circuit was burnt due to someone's unprofessionalism. Extremely disappointed.
(I will update the review, should the circumstances change.)
Update: I got a notification that the owner responded that it was manipulated- your repairman literally said that the copper circuit ended up getting burnt while soldering, along with the wires insulation- he literally showed you the other printed circuits. Yes they are electronics and that is EXACTLY when I paid you $50/- (a supposed expert)- to be CAREFUL; otherwise, I could’ve done it myself by getting a gun from Amazon. Regulating temperature on a soldering gun- even a school kid knows that. Waste of cab money, $50/-, time and the...

No recomiendo confiarle ningún equipo.
Scammer and highly unprofessional.
Mario received our TV and charged $70 for the inspection. Later, he charged $270 for the repair, plus a credit card fee, bringing the total to $280 for the repair, in addition to the initial $70.
It took him two weeks to realize that his original diagnosis was incorrect. A month later, he received the part that was supposed to fix the issue, but it didn’t work. Nearly a month and a half later, he informed us that the TV was beyond repair and that we needed to come pick up the TV and the cash refund, instead of refunding the amount to the card. Throughout the process, he was rude and had terrible communication.
Approximately 10 days later, we tried to coordinate picking up the TV and the cash, and he asked us to confirm before coming. We agreed to go on Friday, but when we called to confirm, he didn’t answer, and then stopped taking our calls altogether.
A month later, I went in person. Mario claimed that because more than 30 days had passed, he couldn’t refund the money, even though the contract specifies 30 days after the repair, which never took place. Additionally, he printed and signed a document with an arbitrary date, without our signature to confirm the date. Not only did he fail to issue the refund, but he also charged $50 for parts that were never used.
Finally, he refused to refund the full amount, claiming that "more than 30 days" had passed and offered only $100 of the $280 he owed.
This issue highlights Mario's complete lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unwillingness to be flexible. I wouldn’t recommend trusting him or ZD USA Electronic Repairs with...
