Taqueria Guadalupana 2 — Restaurant in Miami

What a great little taco shop this is. I'll be honest, when you dive by it doesn't look like much and I'd normally not stop at a joint like this but a friend told me about it and I said why not. This operation here is the real deal and authentic, or as authentic as Mexican food could be around here anyway. You can't beat delicious $2 tacos with 9 or 10 different protein options. The place was packed all the time because it's small but when I tried the food it all made sense. I opted for the chorizo, pastor and carnitas. All equally delicious, prepared fast and with love with two hot sauces to choose from and bite away. A family behind me was also having flautas and enchiladas that if it wasn't for the 6 tacos I had already devoured, I would have placed an order for those too. Sometimes and a lot times in my case the places we drive by and ignore, the mom and pop places, tucked away in a corner, those often surprise us. Mid-order the lady at the counter answers the phone and proceeds to take their order. Even though she was attending us first and not even done taking ours down. She got my tacos mixed up. I didn't order pork as it usually always makes me sick. Told her this and all she had to say "its very good either way" i don't care if its "good" -side note: I took a bite and it was disgusting, I had to give it to my mom. It was so greasy and funny tasting- she didn't bother to at least make it right. I'm not confrontational but I wish I had been as I did pay for this "food". The tacos weren't even good. They were the dry-est tacos I ever had. Legit my mouth had no saliva when I ate them. Chicken and steak were bland. They don't even double up on the tortilla. Horrible customer service. As I started to order my food speaking in Spanish, the cashier rudely cut me off and very loudly in Spanish, told me to speak in Spanish. I'm Black, so I guess she assumed I only spoke English. My friend who was on the phone with me thought someone was trying to start a fight with me from how loud and rude she spoke. I repeated exactly what I said before I was rudely cut off and she placed the order. And as I waited for my food she did nothing but look at me strangely. And my food wasn't even that good.
