Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center — Local services in Miamisburg

1st day of NO SCHOOL 4 the kids:) So I decided 2 take my daughter and her boyfriend here 4 the block party they were having 2day. They had open swim from 2-5 p.m. When we first got there we got dressed in our bathing suit and put our bags in the locker's. It cost 25 cents 4 storage but make sure you have extra 1s on hand becuz you have 2 pay a quarter every time you open it. Then I ordered a cheese pizza 4 myself and went in the pool 2 try 2 burn off some calories. Intermission started 4 the adults,so I headed 2 the slide and went down a lot of times. While back in the pool the kids got hungry and I got them pizza and pop. We stayed 2 about 4:45 then left. Great family fun. It has 2 water slides where you can go down with or without an innertube (provided). The facility also has a diving board, a climbing wall, and a kids area with a fountain and other "splash pad" features. This area is aopropriate for children 3 and under. They provide life jackets for children, free of charge. 15 minute breaks at the top of every hour. Children 3 and under (with an adult), and adults are allowed to stay in the pool. Snack bar prices are reasonable. Lounge chairs and large umbrellas are on site. Bags and coolers (coolers no larger than 20x20) are allowed, and they look inside the coolers upon entering. Miamisburg pool has much to offer for swimmers and splashers of all ages. There are lawn chairs around the perimeter of the pool, but they usually are filled quickly, so many people spread out their beach towels on the grassy hill(s). Head to consessions to fill up on Domino's pizza by the slice, pretzels, nachos with cheese, starbucks iced frappuccino, smoothies, or other assorted snacks. This past summer saw the addition of a splash pad, which was a huge hit with my toddler! There is a frog slide for little swimmers and two bigger slides for the bigger kids/teens/adults.
