Detail Garage - Baltimore East — Local services in Middle River

We have used Chemical Guy's products in the past, and with new products constantly coming out, we love to hear personal experiences and insider tips prior to purchasing new products.

We had previously went to different Detail Garage locations, however they were not well stocked and the customer service was sub par. We found Detail Garage Baltimore East earlier in the summer, and decided to take a trip up there to see how this store was. IT WAS AWESOME. We were greeting by the two amazing owners and friends and they immediately welcomed us into their store and helped us with everything we needed. We were able to look around at the products and the shelves were PACKED FULL OF PRODUCTS. They allowed us to pick and choose what we liked, and ask questions and hear feedback about each of the products. They didn't try to sell us products just to make a profit, they were upfront about what they liked and disliked and they recommended products that would best suit our needs for our detailing company.

Recently, I contacted the store on their facebook page via messenger and explained to them that we wanted to begin polishing wheels as one of our services. I asked them if they could put together a "polishing kit" for me to surprise my boyfriend (the owner of our detailing company).

The guys remembered us from our previous visits and went above and beyond and put together a whole kit for me to surprise him with! They explained each of the items in the kit and what each of the polishes would be best suited for and helped me set up the entire surprise for him! He LOVED the kit, and actually went up to Detail Garage Baltimore East the next week and spent over three hours in the store hanging out with the guys and getting advice and tips from the owners and detailers in the store.

I'm telling ya'll, to them its more then a store. They are kind and caring to each of their customers and take the time to build a relationship with each customer so that the customers are more then a face or name, they are a small business, a family trying to put food on the table, or a young man starting his detailing company.

They go above and beyond to provide such an amazing experience at their store. We have loved being able to drive up to the store and get to know them, and will ONLY BE USING THEM FROM NOW ON for all of our Chemical Guys product needs. If ya'll haven't gone to this store, YOU NEED TO GO VISIT THIS STORE RIGHT NOW. If you have questions message them on facebook! They messaged me back almost immediately!

Short- Excellent customer service. Excellent knowledge of products. They have a product for every application you could possibly need.

Long- I recently got a chance to run over to the newly opened Detail Garage in Middle River. I was going there with no intention of purchasing anything but only to learn more information about some products. When I walked in the door I was immediately impressed with the layout of the store and the vast number of products. I greeted by one of the owners Bill. Bill asked me what I needed help with I told him I was interested in taking a look at the TORQX. He took me to the back half of the store and proceeded to tell me every detail about the TORQX and all the different model types and variations of Hex-Logic Buffing Pads and Chemical guys products. I won't lie, I didn't fully understand at first but that's where Bill really proved to me he cared about me as a customer. We must a stood there and talked for about 45min. He answered any and all my questions. He gave a complete understanding of what I was getting into. With my new found confidence I was able to make a decision on the TORQX fx10 along with some polish, stealent and wax. The following weekend I was able to try out all the products I bought. Absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. This was my first time using a buffer and I was surprised how easy it was. (how to videos from chemical guys YouTube channel really help). But this is were the customer service at the middle river detail garage really goes above and beyond. I noticed a small hologram effect left on my hood on my black Chevy Silverado the next day as it was sitting in a parking lot. I called over to the store and Bill answered the phone. He proceeded to tell the steps I should take to correct the hologram effect and that if what he said didn't work please "bring it by the store and I will personally take a look and it and we can fix it together". I was blown away by the offer. I really appreciate this level of commitment he has. Detail Garage gained a life long customer that day. Also the steps he gave me over the phone worked like a charm. I have never been happier with the way my truck...

Well, I went in there yesterday a brought a few things to wash my new car. I apologize for forgetting his name but the older gentleman (father of one of the owners I think he said) has amazing customer service skills. He took his time to explain every question I had. Didn’t rush me, didn’t get frustrated with me, he was truly genuine and knowledgeable. Wasn’t trying to sell me a bunch of unnecessary stuff but sold me what I needed. Then James came out who also seemed genuine and honest so it was only right to have him set my wife’s (black car) up for a full detail, clay bar, all that good stuff tomorrow at 9am. I will post a review on the detail when it’s complete.

UPDATE: Well I picked my wife’s car up from getting detailed by Detail Garage/New Era(hope I spelled it correctly). MAN.. When I tell you they brought that car back to life. Look I am in no way affiliated with them, I just like to give credit where credit is due. I am posting pictures also. I think the best park is the customer service. The car looks brand new inside and out. The price he gave me made me feel like I was getting over on him so I had to throw in some more money. All jokes aside: the work was A+, the customer service was A+, the price was A+, the knowledge and attention to detail was A+, I truly recommend this place for all your detail needs.
