Island Dreams Hair Salon — Local services in Middle River

Joyce Wolf hair stylist does on the side work going to homes of the elderly who cannot get out to the salon. She had been doing my mothers hair at home for the last 7 yrs. she is 82 yrs old and walks with a walker. Joyce was scheduled to do her hair on a Friday evening for her grandson's wedding on Saturday in Knoxville, MD. Joyce never showed up at the scheduled time and when called at the salon she hung up on my mother after telling her she would not be coming to do her hair. NOW - where does an 82 year old get an appointment at the last minute with a salon who is being picked up at 12 noon the day of the wedding.

Joyce Wolf should not be allowed to work in any salon after doing something like this...

Had an appointment booked with Hailey, I called 30 minutes before my appointment to let them know I would be 10 minutes late due to work. I was told “thats fine”. When I arrived within the 10 minutes that I called about, I was turned away because she was already starting another client. I called back after leaving to clarify why I was turned away and they claimed I had only booked a cut (I had a bayalage and trim booked) and that they could get to me after that client and could finish another day. Please do not waste your time with this salon....

My absolute favorite place to get my hair done. Everyone is so nice, great atmosphere, clean, and the stylists are fantastic at their jobs. If I could go higher than five stars I would. Can't say enough nice things about this place, I've been going there since I was a kid and I wouldn't get my hair done...
