My Dad an I went to your place today an we tried to park on your North side of the building because my Dad has a hard time walking. We we're told by the first two guys we could park there in a non handicap parking spot an some other person working there told us we couldn't park there we had to park on the west side parking lot. I told him that if I get back in my truck to move it I was going back home all he said was leave then. I told the young man we'll never be back if we get treated like that. He said that's fine don't come back again. We used to come to all your events an always parked on the Northside of your building so Dad wouldn't have to walk as far. But I guess when you treat people like that you will loose business from guests who have been coming to your place since you first built the building. We used to go to the mec when it was north of Howe all the time but we'll never step a foot on your place ever again an if people ask me I'll tell them what...

The road leading into the center, as well as the parking are inadequate and not at all set up to accommodate large crowds at this time. Give yourself lots of time to be stuck in traffic once within 2 blocks of the place- with only one entrance in and out of general parking. Bathrooms are small for large crowds and not well lit. Very limited sinks and hand dryers. Vending is SLOW with horrible place for lines of people standing interrupting flow. Seating is not labeled and hard to locate. Arenas are small and smelled horribly of horse urine way into the seating. Some corner/bend sections are ridiculous to maneuver through already seated patrons (section 11 example). Not a good first impression. Hope they are still renovating because PBR events will not be easy here I didn't view the horse stall area, but I can't imagine showing all weekend without camping, showers, or more than two...

Attended the horse show. Extremely disappointed in the parking at this facility. Was informed that no more parking was available by a police officer at the entrance. Asked about handicap parking (daughter on oxygen, grandmother has heart issues and frequent falls, and I also have mobility issues) was informed that no more parking was available handicap parking ran out. Had to park at the flea market (about 0.5 miles away) on uneven ground with people visibly slipping while walking to the shuttle area. On the shuttle to the MEC, saw that the same police officer was allowing people to park in the MEC parking lot. Once inside, tickets were scanned once, but still had to be shown to more staff. Also the women’s restroom did not have trash cans in the stalls for disposal of feminine care products. Would not recommend this...

We attended the Noel Christmas program Saturday night. The program was absolutely wonderful and beautiful. And not what wee were expecting to see. The event center probably hosts a lot of livestock/animal type events. As we entered and waited on the dinner part of the event to begin, the aroma of barn dung hung heavily in the air. Wow. We wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. But if Mary could give birth in a barn and Jesus could lay in the castles manger, we could handle the smell for a couple hours. But when we sat down the the dinner being served by the Amish women of the area, there was no offensive barn odor. We enjoyed -thourougly enjoyed - the dinner and the Christmas show presented that evening. It was such a an enjoyable event, we are looking forward to next Year Christmas celebration program.

This was right across the street for us, as we were at the rv park there between this the flea market. So we rode our bikes there. We did bring our own drinks, just to save a few dollars. The live music was kinda nice, and it seemed a shame nobody else clapped after the gal finished a song. She was good actually. The trick is choose was a Mexican one that had cilantro in their toppings was my choice... was ok, not allot of flavor and kinda dry, but still glad I tried it. My husband had a burger at the burger truck and it was OK as well. Then I had the cinnimon roll and it was big and not too bad. But it was $7. I needed my sweet, so that was that. Still a good gathering to try.

Not bad. We came from out of town and this place was easy to find and easy to get into. They had lots of young people directing parking and trams ready to take you to the line. A lady was walking the line early and cheerfully answering any questions. Inside was clean, neat and well organized. I overheard an usher say the house seats 5,500 and it was full for our Willie Nelson concert. I'm going to give a review now but we will see how the existing process goes but so far so good. Also, the pretzels and lines for beer or wine were excellent. What a great addition to Shipshewana.
