My Dad an I went to your place today an we tried to park on your North side of the building because my Dad has a hard time walking. We we're told by the first two guys we could park there in a non handicap parking spot an some other person working there told us we couldn't park there we had to park on the west side parking lot. I told him that if I get back in my truck to move it I was going back home all he said was leave then. I told the young man we'll never be back if we get treated like that. He said that's fine don't come back again. We used to come to all your events an always parked on the Northside of your building so Dad wouldn't have to walk as far. But I guess when you treat people like that you will loose business from guests who have been coming to your place since you first built the building. We used to go to the mec when it was north of Howe all the time but we'll never step a foot on your place ever again an if people ask me I'll tell them what...
Read moreThe road leading into the center, as well as the parking are inadequate and not at all set up to accommodate large crowds at this time. Give yourself lots of time to be stuck in traffic once within 2 blocks of the place- with only one entrance in and out of general parking. Bathrooms are small for large crowds and not well lit. Very limited sinks and hand dryers. Vending is SLOW with horrible place for lines of people standing interrupting flow. Seating is not labeled and hard to locate. Arenas are small and smelled horribly of horse urine way into the seating. Some corner/bend sections are ridiculous to maneuver through already seated patrons (section 11 example). Not a good first impression. Hope they are still renovating because PBR events will not be easy here I didn't view the horse stall area, but I can't imagine showing all weekend without camping, showers, or more than two...
Read moreAttended the horse show. Extremely disappointed in the parking at this facility. Was informed that no more parking was available by a police officer at the entrance. Asked about handicap parking (daughter on oxygen, grandmother has heart issues and frequent falls, and I also have mobility issues) was informed that no more parking was available handicap parking ran out. Had to park at the flea market (about 0.5 miles away) on uneven ground with people visibly slipping while walking to the shuttle area. On the shuttle to the MEC, saw that the same police officer was allowing people to park in the MEC parking lot. Once inside, tickets were scanned once, but still had to be shown to more staff. Also the women’s restroom did not have trash cans in the stalls for disposal of feminine care products. Would not recommend this...
