I came on 4/23/2023 to switch the dummy wheel with my wheel that ready with the new tire. The tire was installed on the wheel on a previous day. My first concern is the price of installation and new tire. I did buy the set of tires in October 2022. I got a flat on the front drivers side and had to use warranty to replace but why the price adjustment as I bought the 4 tires at the $150 discount. I needed only to pay I believe 12% of the original tire price, which was $191.39 but there was a price correction for the original price of $268.99 which I did not pay. So the 12% became over 30% doesnāt seem right. Even if it was 12% of original price then it would have been around $32.27 plus fees where the total price would not have been $90.58 (wo taxes). This doesnāt seem right since I paid only $12.98 in installation, so I paid $77.6 for new tire under warranty where it should have been only 12% of the new tire price!?
Second concern is the time it took to install the tire. The wheel was already ready to be installed. All they had to do is take the dummy off and put the new wheel on but I had an appointment at 6pm and came a bit early, around 5:40 pm. Yet, I waited over 1:15 to put just 1 wheel on my car. I think I waited 2.5 hrs to completely replace 4 tires. If your going to make customers wait that long just to take a wheel off and put the other wheel on, donāt make the appointments.
My last concern is what the person working at the counter said to another person waiting for his car to be done. Since he had a TESLA and replacing his tires, the worker of COSTCO said that they are taking extra precautions to make sure they donāt damage or scratch anything. Now, that is great, but does that mean COSTCO tire installers donāt do that for other customers but just for people with fancy cars!? It surely does seems so!
Update! On 8/6/2023 with my terrible luck, the tire that we replaced got a flat tire again, a nail this time, but yet we had to replace the tire and their dumb explanation that it can't be fixed, such BS.
Anyhow, once again Costco charged us again for the difference between the sale price of the tire and the original price. This means that we got charged twice the difference now, so, they have made money on their sale.
Wonder how many customers have been screwed over their...

I tried to use MY phone to scan the digital image of digital memberships barcode and the electronics didn't like it as zoomed or regular size in my Android platform. Mind you, I pay for EVERYTHING off my phone and don't carry cash anywhere! The individual employee was like rude and questioning me unapologetically like I'm a criminal! Are you serious with that behavior Costco? Y'all need to do retraining on customers entering and using their customers ID on their phones... I'm a Veteran too and find it disingenuous that I'm being entrance blocked by someone who's unqualified to realize that digital media access is NOW. Saying in a negative demeanor to me "what is that? " is childish if not a full ignorance of your policies and my rights as a "member". My ability and aptitude to compliment YOUR Costco digital scan system is on pount. Your digitally scanning of my physical card is almost if not a ridiculous thought to me! Your ignoring that people have digital phones and that the bar codes are digitized in their private digital electronic wallet. The cellphone is safer than the card. Your selling electronics and fooling yourself if think otherwise. You really need to step up your I.T. understanding of digital ingress and egress. Here's a free idea, get a recognition QR system that'll verify the digital card is legit to that phone as needed. People are going in with someone else's card already, your not navigating at šÆ percent for sure. It's a far safer scenario that a person's cell phone bar code or QR or digital to digital verification process would be better suited until I guess you have an Elon robot with AI. This is not the first time I've been berated with ignorance. I'm not the only person in the entire Costco world that this is happening too. Obviously, your owners definitely need to make some important decisions in house to introduce your employees to the current technology of, in and around the scope of your "members" and your "memberships"...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a clean location and all interactions with staff have been excellent, if you like Costco this one does just fine.
On Costco generally speaking: I'm somewhat pleased with my membership so far, and the place no doubt provides great value for certain things (liquor, wine, diapers/baby products, paper products, cleaning products, soda, snacks), but I've been roundly disappointed with some of the food I've purchased there. Basically, you have to watch the prices of things - you are NOT always getting a good value, nor always the best quality, especially regarding pre-made foods/meals. I think there's some degree of "drinking the Kool-Aid," where members convince themselves that the one product of a certain foodstuff Costco sells is of the highest quality when that simply isn't the case, and really you're just shelling out extra money because you have to (because they don't offer any other options).
Besides limited options of everything, essentially nothing comes in small quantities either, so it just isn't a good place to shop for groceries. If you have a large family, it probably overall makes more sense, but you'll have a tough time eating certain things fast enough if you don't have a bunch of hungry mouths to feed at home.
The truth is, to be a smart shopper and/or to eat healthful meals during the week, you'd have to make at least another stop at another grocery store - and sometimes that's just too inconvenient a truth to justify a Costco visit in the first place. So, I find myself going there maybe once a month, and only to buy a short...
