Update: different week, different day, but the same thing. Seriously just change your hours to 8 am. I show up at 7:50 hoping for more luck and nothing. This is ridiculous, they are never open at 7 am it seems* I have tried going there two days in a row now, around 7:30 am to hopefully get a smoothie before work. Yesterday, I pull up into the drive-through and a guy came on the speaker phone and said they didn't open until 8. I was confused but let it go and left. Today, I pulled in at about 7:30 again. There was another car in front of me at the speaker and she had her window down. We waited for about 5 minutes, and then she looked out her window at me and shrugged at me. She said that the automated "Someone will be with you shortly" but no one has been on the speaker yet. She drove off frustrated but I decided to go in. The door was open and the door ding went off but no one came to the front. A delivery man was the first person I saw in the store this morning. He yells to someone in the back and says you have a customer! So someone comes out, and says that they don't open until 8. I pointed out that it says 7 am on the door, the door was open, and the open sign was on. He said they don't open until 8, again, only because they just got their food order. Both days the "Open" sign was on. As someone who relies on Smoothie King in the morning three to four mornings during the week for a breakfast supplement, I am just disappointed that I'm being mislead with...
Read moreI have tried to order smoothies for a group of kids after practice multiple times for the last two weeks. No one answers the phone after 8:30pm. Last night I drove through the drive through at 8:40, I could clearly see two people inside and they wouldn’t help me. I parked my car and went to the front door, which was locked and both employees looked at me and walked to the back. At this point I decided to call, it rang they picked up and hung up. I called back and a Women answered I asked for her manager and she said she had no idea who her manager was and passed the phone to the rudest young man I have ever spoken too. He told me he wasn’t an employee and he was filling in for the day and it was non of my business who the manager was. He also said that both employees were minors and weren’t allowed to give out their name. Then I was hung up on. As a business owner in Madison I am appalled by this. I hope that management doesn’t take this lightly, because these two individuals are losing you a...
Read moreI LOVEEEE THIS SMOOTHIE KING & ITS STAFF. They are truly, remarkably incredible. I’m a National Rehabilitation Field Specialist and I was sent to Madison for a few weeks twice. I live in Dallas, TX where we have these everywhere so imagine my surprise the city only has one. BUT OH HOW I LOVE THIS ONE. Trisha and her staff noticed I would sit and log my patient notes in my truck in the parking lot while they made my smoothie and often I would forget I was even here for a smoothie. But lo and behold, she gracefully waltzed across the parking lot with such a glow and a smile out of this world. Truly beautiful people and atmosphere. Correy and Brit are awesome as well. They forever have this Texas girl’s heart. It’s nice being so far from home and knowing there are still kind people with such charming hospitality. Thank you guys for always making my work days that much easier and my work out days that much...
