Zero Stars! The absolute the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant, EVER! I was with a group of six, four were seated and got drinks, while two arrived a few minutes late. The waitress came to take our order and we proceeded to order - it wasn’t smooth but we got through it and the two also ordered their drinks. We waited for quite some time and a new waiter came back without drinks to let us know that our waitress accidentally deleted our order. He retook our order, it was a lot smother the second time around. Again, we sat with no drinks and waited a while yet again. Our new waiter came back yet, with no drinks, and told us his POS system died, so we need to order yet again. This time he wrote it down. We all order again, including our drinks. Several tables are being seated around us and have their drinks already. The manager is visible on the floor but never approached our table. By now we have already discussed going elsewhere and are laughing about this situation because what else can we do? When our food finally comes out, three of the eight orders are incorrect. Two omelets had onions when no onions were ordered and my crepe had no dressing. We eat, the food was meh. Our drinks were never topped off and we weren’t checked on once. Once we were done eating, the tables seated around us were already being bussed, while our plates just sat piled up in the middle of our table. Eventually, our waiter checked on us and we asked for our bill. At this point we were expecting the manager to come over and apologize. Several of us attempted to make eye contact with him. We purposely went over to pay at the counter, where the manager was checking a customer out but he ironically stepped away when it was our turn. We asked for him and well it didn’t go well. We explained the numerous happenings and he acted like we were lying, “How do you know the order wasn’t sent?” Well, if it was sent why did we order two more times smart a$$? He then admitted he knew two orders were remade without onion, as in to justify they remade the food so we should be happy. I noted that in addition to the service hiccups, we waited a very long time and that tables around us were seated and left. We were there for almost two hours. He never once apologized and reluctantly gave us a “discount” from $106 to $95. We asked for a corporate number to call and were directed to a QR Code. We also asked for his name and he sarcastically asked if we wanted to see his ID. I believe he gave us a false name unless our waiter and he have the same exact name. All in all I have NEVER experienced anything like this EVER. This “manager” has no customer service or business skills whatsoever. He was rude and completely...
Read moreThis is my 1st time visiting this location of ihop and my 1st time visiting any ihop in years! I really can't give it a higher rating than what I have. So this is a large location and I know today staffing is an issue everywhere, and in every industry. I get that and I am keeping it in mind as I write this review. I'm not sure that the server I had was doing the best she could or maybe she was but she could have done better even with the number of customers or tables that she had. I just think she may have been inexperienced. But aside from that the food... I was starving and craving breakfast so bad and the other places that I would have preferred to have gone to, there was too long of a wait. I ordered an omelet and I had a build your own omelet--not the best. It was dry inside and out. It seemed to be overcooked which I know can happen with omelets which is usually why I do not order them. If I'm going to have an omelet I usually make it at home. I prefer scrambles but they don't offer that on the menu. I also ordered an order of hash browns and a side of a wheat toast. The only thing that was not bad were the hash browns. The toast-- oh my gosh it was cold! I mean cold and hard! Butter? I wouldn't have been able to put any butter on it. It was that cold and I don't know what they did- I mean it was brown like it had been toasted but it was not fresh or something was wrong with it! It honestly seemed like they had made an extra order of toast and let it sit on a counter for a long time and then decide to serve it to me. Because like I said it was cold and hard like toast gets when you leave it out for a while. I also had a glass of Orange juice. First of all I ordered a regular size not a large and because I had not been there before I didn't know what size a regular was but they ended up giving me a large and charging me for it I didn't realize it was a large until I got the bill. What made it worse is I didn't even drink even 1/4 of it because it was horrible. It was very watered down. So I think my rating based on what I've stated in my review is warranted unfortunately. I will never visit this iHop again and I don't know that I would visit any IHOP again unless it were my only and I mean my truly only option. There are much better places for me to have breakfast including pancakes! Gus's diner in Verona or any Perkins are my usual go to for breakfast including...
Read moreThank you so much Juan! If anyone comes here and has Juan as your server please tip him good! He was an absolute blessing. So due to very personal reasons I have been struggling a lot for the last 2 years. I became homeless (living in hotels) 4 days before I had my second child. Today is his birthday he turned 2 and I wanted to do something special for him. Obviously paying $2k a month for a hotel room is pricey and leaves my pockets pretty dry. My boyfriend happens to work 3rd shift so he was sleeping while I literally called him 20 times just to cash app me all the money I needed for our little outting. (Going out to eat isn’t something I do very often) Well, I was in panic mode for like an half hour and I couldn’t just order food without money. So I asked for my check on the orange juices I got feeling embarrassed, upset and crying. Well, Juan was very understanding and he pleaded with me to stay and surprised us with birthday pancakes for me and my 2 sons. Well after a few minutes my boyfriend finally answered the phone and I calmed down. I told Juan we were going to stay and proceeded to order. He was very kind, patient and when I didn’t have enough to pay he looked after me unexpectedly so I could afford it and I didn’t realize this until I had already left. I wanted to tip this man so bad. I hope and pray to God he gets paid enough and is recognized for his genuine, kind soul! I was freaking out because I thought I couldn’t do anything right as a mom especially on my sons birthday.
Juan, I can’t stress it or say it enough I really appreciate your kindness. You are an amazing person, there isn’t enough Juan’s in this world and needless to say I will be back and next time I’ll have a nice tip for you as long as you serve us again!!! Thank you for making my sons birthday special!...
