When we visited The Aviary for our tour, we immediately knew this was the one. It’s been a little over a week since we moved in, and so far, everything has been worth it.
We would like to thank Amanda for giving us the tour and for being so kind and approachable throughout the entire process. She showed us several units and even offered to tour us through a few that weren’t on our original schedule, simply because she thought we might like them — which was very thoughtful of her. Thanks to her, our move-in went smoothly, and she answered all my questions promptly before we signed the lease.
We also want to thank Aldemar and Grace for their timely responses whenever we reached out. And a big shoutout to Niko — since day one, he’s been quick to help with every maintenance request. Whether it was fixing the dishwasher or installing our TV, he always got it done within a day. Thank you, Niko!
There are so many things we love about The Aviary:
Cleanliness: During our tour, we noticed how clean everything was — from the hallways and units to the lounge and amenity areas. Everything looked and smelled clean, which is a huge factor for us. We hope the management continues to maintain the same level of cleanliness and fresh scent, especially in the basement and elevators. We also appreciate that The Aviary is a non-smoking community — so we hope management continues to monitor and maintain a smoke-free environment for everyone’s comfort.
Amenities: The underground parking is spacious, the fitness area is large and well-equipped, and there are entertainment and movie rooms. The community is also pet-friendly, with a small dog park and a washroom dedicated to pets. Plus, having Barre3 and Mane Hair right on-site is such a convenience! It would be wonderful if a kids’ club or play area could be added in the future — it would be a great addition for families with children.
Neighborhood: The location is fantastic — close to restaurants, West Towne Mall, grocery stores, and more.
Community: Everyone we’ve met so far has been polite and friendly, and we’re excited to get to know our neighbors even more in the days ahead.
Overall, we’re very happy with our decision to make The Aviary our home, and we look forward to many happy and healthy...
Read moreOne of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I wana talk with supervisor or owner!!
I came in hoping to have a calm conversation, but the staff was immediately hostile — apparently upset over a previous review I had written. I was told, “we lost our bonus because of your nasty reviews,” and then I was kicked out of the office. She even threatened to call the police on me for simply asking to speak with a supervisor or the owner.
When I asked for her name or business card, she refused to provide it. She acted as if she was the owner herself and didn’t allow me to speak with anyone else. I pointed out that review responses are marked as coming from the “owner,” and she claimed those were written by AI — not real people.
I even tried to show her call history and screenshots as proof that I had been trying to reach someone, but she dismissed it, saying that’s not valid proof. Yet when I asked her for her proof of contacting the owner or former management, she gave nothing in writing either — just said she called and no one answered. When I tried to hold her to the same standard she demanded of me, she brushed it off.
Overall, I felt disrespected, dismissed, and treated unfairly. If this is how tenants are spoken to, especially when they just want to talk things through, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
If you talked with someone just do not believe you should want any written things or record because they told me that. And also if its possible talk with all at the same time tomorrow they act like not working in same office asking names and they dont know each other.
These are the picture of i talked since september 2024 but
As you can see reviews after RPM this place went...
Read moreTo start off with the only good thing: This place is very pretty on the surface. I live in the 1bed, 1.5bath and love the amount of space I have and the size of the kitchen is fantastic. However, there’s a huge lack of storage- no coat closet, bathroom counters are very short so small drawers, no linen closet in the bathroom, no storage in the garage like what is common in many complexes in this location. There is an option to rent a storage unit for an extreme price and still very little space. There is absolutely no soundproofing between units, it sounds like my neighbors are having a conversation right next to me, and it seems like I can hear all these surrounding units’ noises through my vents, along with hearing car noises from the street and beltline. Air flow is pretty sad so the space gets really stuffy in the summer, the ac/heat unit take up half the patio and is so loud every time it’s on, and the windows are so so drafty. Hot water is limited and unreliable-I’ll be taking a shower and 2 minutes in the water will go from hot to ice cold and then to lukewarm. Management doesn’t check their email. They require rental insurance, which I have on my own, yet have been asking for my proof of insurance (even though I’ve sent it multiple times) and charge me monthly for their insurance. The office is regularly unstaffed and since they don’t check their email, there’s no way to contact someone to get the charges removed. On top of all this, the washer and dryer are not full-size, I can’t even fit my queen size comforter in them. It’s so overpriced and definitely not worth staying here. Don’t get sucked in by...
