Thru God's Grace & Awesome Blessings, Esp For The Hard Working Farmer, These Men, Esp My Great G/Father Had A Small Town Christian Wife Taught W/Small Town Honour, Values & The Best Home Cooking Any Child, Woman & Esp Hard Working Man is Grateful, Having NO PROBLEM GIVING THANKS TO GOD & HIS WIFE FOR AS HE PREPARED TO EAT THE MEAL SHE KEPT WARM FOR HIM IF BY CHANCE CAME IN LATE AFTER HELPING A NEIGHBOR. FILLING HIS BELLY & SOUL FROM THE LIGHT OF DAWN, 2 PROVIDE THE STRENGTH NEEDED TIL THE MEAL AS THE SUN SETS, FILLING HIS BELLY W/WARMTH TO RECIEVE THE GOOD NIGHT SLEEP NEEDED FOR THE FOLLOWING MORN. HOW GRATEFUL I AM W/ALL THE FAST FOOD JOINTS & RESTAURANTS THAT JUST DO NOT HAVE TRUE SOULFOOD* THAT TOUCHES UR HEART & SOIL! THE FOOD THAT TRULY GAVE THE OLD SAYING: THE BEST WAY TO REACH A MAN'S HEART IS THRU HIS BELLY-TRUTH! Visited this place today for the first time. It’s big store , lots of parking, with sections of Amish vendors who sell their Amish merchandise mainly food items such as pretzels , dairy produce , breads , meats and poultry , ice cream ( not Amish) and milkshakes with fresh fruit juices too. Proves seem reasonable apart from the seafood stand which seemed a bit steep in prices. The quality is traditional and good for most items. Outside the store there was a young man on a BBQ spreading ready made seasoning on whole chickens , wings, and leg quarters. We bought several items in the different stalls and tried them out and most were very good . The chicken from the BBQ is sold ar the store entrance where it’s kept warm and there are registers where you pay credit or cash . The problem was the BBQ chicken which was extremely salty because these pre prepared bottled spices usually have a lot of MSG and high sodium content therefore one has use them sparingly not drown the chicken with the bottled seasoning. The result was that the whole bbq chicken I bought was not edible at all because of excessive salt and we had to throw it out as it was loaded with too much salt seasoning and MSG had been applied . The staff are very friendly and service very good . Customers tend to talk to each other with respect too which was nice to see. Someone needs to read the salt content and MSG on the seasoning they are using and apply it sparingly if they can’t make their own seasoning . I personally do not buy prepared seasonings precisely because of the hidden MSG and high sodium content so the BBQ is not for me otherwise the other stuff like breads and other baked...

Our family stayed in Middletown over the 4th of July weekend, and had a great time here on the 4th. They were doing a BBQ which seemed very popular with locals, but we were there for the amazing doughnuts everyone recommended inside of the bakery area and they were phenomenal! My husband and I shared the blueberry crumble, plain glazed, and cinnamon twists, and my mom and brother had the apple pie filled and raspberry filled. We all agreed that they were fantastic and super fresh. They had a lot of flavors to choose from. We also visited a little coffee area inside the market, and both my husband and I enjoyed our coffees we bought. There was also a candy/chocolates shop inside, as well as a butcher/meat market, a seafood stand, a general goods area (jams, baking ingredients, dry goods, etc.), a fresh produce section, a cheese and dairy section, an ice cream and smoothie area, hot food bar, and other merchants I can’t remember off the top of my head. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly, and the place was clean and had lots of areas to sit and eat or rest. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
