Uncle Bob's Landscaping & Garden Center — Local services in Middletown

I love Uncle Bob's garden center. They are not like other garden centers who the workers don't know anything about their plants. Amanda and her team are very knowledgeable and kind. She always has a smile on her face. Bob's isn't a huge garden center but they usually have a verity to pick from. All their plants are maintained well and if you have any issues they will work with you to help fix or solve them. If you can't find what your looking for just ask because many of times they can order it for you. I have been going there for years and they really take pride in what they do. You can't beat the prices either. I have read some reviews claiming ppl have gotten bugs from plants they bought there and as an avid gardener I check the plants I'm going to buy and I have never ever seen any types of bugs in any plant I have bought from them. You do have to take into consideration this is a green house and open to the outdoors. Also they can not control what comes in with vendors. I do know that the staff there does check their incoming plants, because I have been there while they were doing so. There mulch prices out beat anywhere else around town and it lasts many seasons. I will continue to come back to Uncle Bob's as long as they are there and I will always refer them first. Just keep in mind that Covid 19 has effected many small business and even large distribution centers. I will always support small businesses like this one. This place has it all! From diffferent types of mulch and asphalting rocks to floral arrangements to magnets and pretty gardening decor! Was in a rush and stopped in after a service at victory church and a short haired woman quickly made the most beautiful bouquet for my husbands grandmother. It was her birthday and she was so happy to get a beautiful bunch of flowers with the prettiest butterfly in them! The butterfly was also a MAGNET! Last year, we reached out Uncle Bob’s after speaking to a friend who suggested looking into a patio. We had been considering a deck, but always wanted a patio. We thought the deck would be cheaper, after talking with Mike and meeting with Frank we discovered a patio would be well within our budget. The entire Uncle Bob’s team was incredible.
