Marigold Boutique — Local services in Midland Park

I don’t know how I wound up in this boutique, it’s beautiful I will say that. I was at a local pharmacy picking up my mothers cancer meds, I am not familiar with the area. I had my five year old autistic daughter with me. My daughter promptly decided to tell me she had To use the restroom or she was going to wet herself. The clerk look at me ded In the face, after explaining my situation, and told me, my daughter could not use the restroom unless I bought something. I said look she is five she’ll be in and out and the lady at register suggested I started to get frazzled because I started thinking how much work it took to get my daughter to be able to announce to me in an emergency situation, that she has to use The restroom- I was thinking about how it would set her back, had this let her to an accident. As I stated, I was becoming visibly frazzled and ANOTHER CUSTOMER Said I’m so sorry honey I come here a lot - and then suggested I buy a greeting card because that’s the cheapest thing they have in the store. 8 dollars later she was permitted To use the restroom. All eyes on us until we left. I have never felt so uncomfortable. We asked everyone around and I saw the boutique and made a snap judgement thinking they would be helpful- anything other than rude and Cold. I have pulled away from the big department stores and do most of my shopping now at Marigold Boutique whether it be for myself or for gifts! They have a beautiful selection of styles for all body types and do a great job of rotating their inventory ahead of the seasons so there is always something new to try on. I love their marketing strategy of posting new arrivals weekly on their page - working full time I do not have all the time in the world to go through the mall, so it is nice to have a local business that's staying current and if I see something I like I can order it right then online for pickup or message them with questions about sizing.
